Funny "Physics" in Revenge trailer...

Yes I was bored, and yes I'm NOT an expert. Just a bit of fun...

I was watching the trailer to Revenge of the Fallen and noticed some weird things going on. It occurs exactly 12 seconds into the trailer.

I am looking at the items of clothing hanging on the line to the mid-right of the image intersecting the window and the wall. There appears to be a dishcloth of sorts, or pants don't know...

Now more items appear directly above the original "cloth", most likely cause they are CG, no problem though.

Now notice how there is a slight change in shape from the previous frames in the cloth. It seems they have been rotoscoped out and replaced with CG versions.

I have circled the "clothing" a few frames later where they appear to explode into rubble like the rest of the materials around the window frame do. The physics behind that seem wrong, it looks like they have the particle properties of breaking up like bricks more than clothing would.

Watch the trailer frame by frame, and then view it in motion and it is easier to spot. It stands out once you notice it.

Just know I am NOT one of those guys who complains about these things, so please just view this as an observation and NOT a criticism of anyone or their skills, please.

Also I know these VFX are not finished, were rushed for promo purposes and will change so don't bash me for that.

I cannot wait to see Revenge as I am a huge fan of Michael and the first film!!

Did you watch the teaser trailer and see it in motion? There are probably many more but this caught my eye the quickest...

The film looks epic, which is just the way I like it!

Like I said I just noticed it and it has not nor will it ever influence my decision to watch and enjoy the film.

Giant robots aren't real I know that, but I accept it and suspend my disbelief.

That's what I meant when I said ILM had more important things to worry about so we could at least view that scene which has turned out to be one of my favorites visually.

I think it's cool when people post still pictures from the trailers.
But to start finding small flaws in the trailers is a bit over the top.
No offence to anyone.

Like I stated quite clearly in my original post that I am aware that these shots are incomplete. Look at how much King Kong changed from the trailers to the final film...

And, as I said before I did not mean it as a criticism.

It'd be funny if this was left in for the final film.
