[Bot of Badassness]

In the cartoon Sideways was a minion of Unicron (like the Fallen) but Sideways managed to become an Autobot and an Decepticon by changing the logo on his chest and by changing his head.

In the film it states that Sideways is a Decepticon, is it possible that right at the end of the film, he changes to an Autobot, opening up a big thing for a 3rd movie. He could be working for Unicron!

i don't think so coz it would be confusing for the mainstream audience but i do think that unicron will be in the third movie, i'm definatly gonna wait till all the credits have scrolled, hoping for a very little treat to imply that unicron is coming.(just hoping and dreaming though).

He maybe not switching sides, remember the Decepticons were Originally the Guardians of Cybertron and Bots were the workers. Maybe Jetfire has been outta it so long his faction doesn't even fit with current situations =D.

Isn't it something like he's tired of battle, and now that it's come to Earth and encompassed him, he doesn't want to see humanity slaughtered by the 'cons?

Plus the dude is an SR-71. He wins. And god I hope we see an epic transformation like Starscream after he beat down Ironhide and Ratchet. Like the jumping and transforming into plane mode before tearing off into the sky.

He won't be so much of an old man in other eyes then.

Reads on his Leader bio he grew tired of war, which is why he headed to Earth, but yeah it was he was sick of the 'Cons.

And yeah he was a scientist, named Skyfire in the cartoon and Jetfire in the comics. He also had a damned annoying voice in the G1 series... Not like now, where he sounds bloody awesome!

ok i dont think sideways will have anything to do with Unicron but than again we wont know untill the movie. Also i think from the latest video that was up and now gone... the point in the vid where we see the saw cutting through the car that sam and crew are in is Sideswipe or at least that saw looks a lot like the saw on Sideswipe's arm on the toy. So sideswipe may be in the same seign as Starscream confronting Sam. Also if Unicron is in the next movie(3)... like i have said in the past, he does not have to be this super large world eater. He can still be a sphere but about the size of the Allspark which is plenty big enough. Why do i say that? Because I believe they are going to go with something like the Allspark really is Primus or the equivalent of Primus... because it was the Cube that created the first 13 and than the rest of the TFs so why wouldnt it be Primus. So have another Allspark thing out there that is a sphere and call it Unicron.

If he bites it early to the bikes I won't be that surprised.
