yeah.I know the feeling. my best friend went with me to watch the first movie and he loved it. the thing is,he was never interested in Transformers so it was great to see him say "wow" on some great scenes. like that scene where Blackout shoots at Ironhide and then transforms into helicopter and flies away.

I experienced the same thing with my mom. She wasn't interested in Transformers at first and did not go see it in theatres. She thought it would be animated like the cartoons. I saw it a few months later and taped the movie off the TV, then bugged here for two weeks to see it. Eventually she gave in and I will never forget the look on her face when she saw Blackout wipe out the airbase. This:

The Showest footage was pulled down because it was just a 12-hour thing.

I just wanted the fans to get a taste of what we have been making for a year and a half because we have been so quiet. The piece was cut about a month ago for this Showest thing I accepted this past month - so as you can see many of the shots were far from being finished renders. This dinky little site received over 1,500,000 hits and 550,000 downloads in this short time. Anyway the trailer is being printed today and coming out on Wolverine and Star Trek. 64 days left!

I think it's a very nice thing that he did for the fans. I've never heard of a director allowing something like that to happen more than 2 months before the opening. I just hope no one is mad about him taking it down. That'll just ruin it for everyone next time.
