And actually it is hard to do. Actors and salesman are better at it than the everyday person because its their livelihood and skill. If you use an average person then knowledge and comfort with a product, or lack of, comes across.
Say I have an iPhone and am asked to promo it at a convention because they helped with my movie, then I'd be all up on that stage going over fun apps and what it helps me do, and a level of credibility and honest endorsement comes across.
But if I didn't have one and they didn't give me one to play with before hand even if for an hour then I'd be up on stage, even with a script, uncomfortable, fidgety and with tons of ums and hmms. Credibility goes down the drain for me and the product because I look unprepared.

I've always defended Michael Bay against attacks that his films are full of stupid explosions, girls in underwear and mindless characters... but then he made Transformers 2 and I conceded...

We support you 100% Mr. Bay and I have to say you have the BEST sense of humor of any director before you and anyone that comes after.
I can't speak for everyone else but.....I LOVE the amount of loyalty you are showing towards this sequel & franchise. Keep up the great work!!! We CAN'T wait for the "BAY-HEM"
