That's Mike for ya!
"The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they're genuine." - Abraham Lincoln
Wow...That's insane......I don't think his mouth was connected to his brain that night..
Seriously...Who does that??
Guys it was a joke. Ya know Ha Ha.
The joke: they made him CEO but he doesn't know why, see he has a cheap ass phone.
*Do think Mike wanted to be there?*
I think it was a brilliant way to get out of doing something.
And actually it is hard to do. Actors and salesman are better at it than the everyday person because its their livelihood and skill. If you use an average person then knowledge and comfort with a product, or lack of, comes across.
Say I have an iPhone and am asked to promo it at a convention because they helped with my movie, then I'd be all up on that stage going over fun apps and what it helps me do, and a level of credibility and honest endorsement comes across.
But if I didn't have one and they didn't give me one to play with before hand even if for an hour then I'd be up on stage, even with a script, uncomfortable, fidgety and with tons of ums and hmms. Credibility goes down the drain for me and the product because I look unprepared.
NOT AS MUCH FUN AS LEONARD NIMOY IS HAVING!!!
"When you make something no one hates, no one loves it." - Tibor Kalman
Damn kinda of a let down but maybe it was taken out of context and it was all staged...we can only hope!!!
"How Come the Decepticons have all the cool shit"
Oh it was done all in good fun. So taken out of context of what really happened.
I've always defended Michael Bay against attacks that his films are full of stupid explosions, girls in underwear and mindless characters... but then he made Transformers 2 and I conceded...
I can't speak for everyone else but.....I LOVE the amount of loyalty you are showing towards this sequel & franchise. Keep up the great work!!! We CAN'T wait for the "BAY-HEM"
A creative signature would be right here if I wasn't such a procrast.....
I know what it's like to be taken out of context and misconstrued. Anyway, very nice to see the movie promotions begun here and there. Can't wait for June.
