Yes, she is. Boys have been flirting with her more than ever. When her teacher told me this I practically lived at her school. Really, for two or three weeks I was there every other day. But, I have to let her grow up. An unfortunate thing for a father to do. She is handling it well and tells them to go "suck an egg". Don't know where she got that from but, if it works for her then it does for me.

Middle school is grades 6-8. It was called Jr. High when I was in school.

Yes, elementary (Kindergarten-5), middle (6-8), and high (9-12).

And variations thereof! In Cali, elementary is k-6, middle (still called Jr. High in some places) is 7-8, HS is 9-12. But even that is not totally consitant. We do have some k-8 schools and some middle schools that do 6-8.

It's like that in some districts in NC also. Some are still K-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools went to the current system 10 years ago.
