actually i think its more because of the fact that it is a deep routed biological need and desire to have sex, and USUALLY (not always) but usually those that have reached a certain age and not had sex aren’t to coolest of cats. There are some who do this by choice, but in this day and age this is becoming increasingly rare. A lot of virgins past the age of 18 now days do it because they spend to much time in their room on the computer, not because they do it by choice. And that in turn is why its an insult.

*just as a note when I say "not the coolest of cats" I’m not judging anybody. I don’t believe there is a "norm" that people should conform too, i think everybody should be who they are. But when I say this I’m referring to what society typically considers "cool".*

Really, it was a joke. I'm being over the top for a reason. You really don't have to look that deep into it. Yes, if you are a certain age and havn't gotten any, you just don't get out much. At least most people i've met who are that way can not only NOT get laid, but can't really interact with people very well.

CJP, no need to apologise. I just didn't watch it as I'm at a low enough already and didn't feel up to someone needlessly slamming Michael Bay.

I just saw Transformers tonight for the first time, and I'd like to say the exact opposite: "I Love You Michael Bay".

His films just bring such unfettered enjoyment to myself. I can actually watch one of his movies and forget what makes me so sad. And Transformers - as a kid I HATED transformers. It was such shit. The mechanical designs were embarrassingly bad - given it was the same era as robotech, where the vehicle and robot forms of the vehicle were as designed (I had scale models for Robotech vehicles (Macross and Mospeada) and was always impressed with the accuracy. I also had transformers, and was disgusted at how CRAP they were in comparison). With transformers it was utter embarrassing old-person "I pooped my pants" embarassing . The robot forms always looked utter shit as they tried to make the vehicles in disguise form look good, so the robot form always suffered. And Look at Megatron. FFS, he transformed into a handgun. I mean W. T. F.

So once again Michael Bay managed to take something that nerds have fond memories of, and I utterly LOATHED and thought was fecal matter and turn it into an awesome movie (this also applies to The Island, where apparently it was from lame assed crap MST2K episode that Michael May tuned into a work of art):
