Well then, I'd rather have them just say that his most recent post was just part of his misinformation campaign. But really, it was just a silly joke.

Even if he did tell a bold face lie, he's doing a helluva better job keeping most things a secret about this movie. Unlike the first one where there was a full script out there to read. If you think about it, we don't really know all that much. It's all speculation.

No he's not. If he said, "but you will get to see him from the long lost past", I would find him more credible. It is possible that this movie has some flashbacks. Instead, however, he said, "you will ONLY get to see him from the long lost past". This contradicts Megatron's toy bio, scenes in the trailer, and other pieces of information. He's clearly misleading us.

Bay is too awesome... I got to meet him one day.

He is by far my favorite director. Perhaps when I get a job as a compositor in ILM, I'll get a chance to work on one of his films... Man I have high dreams

Whats even funnier is that somebody will think that is actually true
In one of my posts, I had mentioned that Michael Bay stating that ROTF was an X-Files or Terminator crossover was as silly and as unbelievable as what he is saying about Megatron's presence in TF2. Then he creates that funny post about how I am right and that the ROTF script was stolen from an X-Files show because there was a writers strike going on. By making his X-Files statement in regards to my post, it seems like he is strongly suggesting that he is lying about what he said regarding Meg's presence.

Dream is just a protoform of reality. It's not so hard to make it come true.

I like that quote. That ones going on my facebook.

I have dreams about voicing in the movie like Hugo Weaving does. I actually did Youtube videos about it, but looking back, it doesn't seem like the best idea ever. It'll never come true because of my location, but it's fun to dream.

What? Michael Bay learned how to hack into a computer to get a script for an X-Files episode that premiered what---10 years ago or more?

I think it's a great idea to have Megatron come back in a flashback. I don't like those sequels where the villain's supposed to be dead, but then he comes back in the second film because actually he is not dead. Megatron IS dead. Period. Let's face it. I did't like the way he died, but it's a fact, it's part of the story. I think the best way to create a mithology is when things go forward, when you explore the universe of the story you're telling. Losing a leading character or one you like gives a whole new meaning to all the rest, you start to appreciate the characters that are left, because you never know who's gonna go next. But then, again, using a flashback it's a great idea, because you can explore a dead character (and thus the mithology) without having to come up with ridiculous ideas to bring him back. I totally trust Michael Bay in this.

Megatron will be in flashbacks but he will also return in the present

This movie will involve 3 factions Autobots, those who follow megs and those who follow starscream/fallen
