    Arrow Easter Eggs

In the commentary, Michael Bay says there are several Easter Eggs to find, including his home address. Post things you noticed in the film. References to other Bay films, Hasbro, etc.. I noticed a few but I'll just post one.

The Air Force Colonel in Qatar was named "Col. Sharp" like the pilot in Armageddon.

In the Bumblebee/Barricade Chase Sam says "Kick Ass ride" which is from Armageddon.

    Ladiesman 217. Bay's b-day is 2/17.

    Mason--his old mastiff--is getting a bath from Sam's buddy.

The 4500X (x-ray) painted on Blackout's tail, refers to the same 4500X as Bays jet.*

    Arrow imdb

    I pulled these from imdb.com

-Josh Duhamel's character Captain Lennox first appeared in the comic book "G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers."

-One of the F-22 Pilots has the name Cpt B. Armbruster written on his cockpit. He is part of the G. I. JOE team and is more commonly known by his Code Name ACE

-When the Autobots first crash to earth in meteor form, a man with a video camera exclaims, "This is a hundred times cooler than Armageddon,an allusion to director Michael Bay's earlier film.

-References to other Hasbro toys are seen in two scenes. The first is when Ironhide lands in the swimming pool, the little girl that goes out to investigate has a "My Little Pony" stuffed toy. The second scene is during the battle in the city. Bumblebee and Ironhide use a truck with "Furby" on the side as a shield against Starscream's attack.

This isn't a conclusive Easter Egg, but I don't buy that it's a coincidence that the tow truck that Mikaela drives says "Mike's" towing on the side.

I don't know if this was intentional, But in the later season of Seaquest (which was produced by Steven Spielberg) there was a sector 7 (or section (can't remember for sure)).

Bay wouldn't put his own address as an easter egg on the DVD.

Is there a commentary on the single disc edition? I know it's not listed on the sleeve, but I swear I heard it was an easter egg on that disc or very hard to find.

I didn't even know that there was a comic book about it, I just though it would be cool. I realy don't know much about GI:Joe I only know a few names thats all. i did wach the cartoon though

Actually don't mean to be anal but just wanted to correct you, the one that landed in the pool that the little girl saw was Optimus Prime. I believe Ironhide had already scanned and transformed before they cut into this scene.

I'm pretty sure Ironhide gets out of the pool then goes to the front of the house and turns into the GMC. Optimus lands in the field then goes to the highway to scan the Peterbuilt.

In the DVD commentary he says himself his address is somewhere in the movie, but he won't tell us where.

    Protoform landings:

    Field - Optimus Prime
    Stadium - Jazz
    Warehouse/Shack - Ratchet
    Pool - Ironhide

Ok so we're clear on that

Actually, Majipro said that Optimus landed in the pool. So we're clear on that, too

The scene where the Autobots crash land and one crashes in front of the Diner.I heard a chubby kid refer to the crash landing outside the diner being even better than Armageddon.

It was prime that landed in the pool. It's on the commentary on the dvd when the pool scene comes up. Also the music changes when prime rises out of the pool so that should be a clue. One more thing is the size difference between prime and ironhide. Prime is alot taller and you can clearly see that when you see the scene in the field and then the one in the pool.

you are wrong. it was Ironhide in the pool. I can't remember the section of commentary you are referring to, However there were a lot of things said that did not corresponded with the images on the screen at the time.

He talks about the little girl tripping as shes reacting to nothing there, while the robot comes out of the pool. Not about which robot is which.

The music changes (I would imagine) to convey the awe of seeing a robot emerge seemingly out of nowhere (especially set against a little girl), not because it's Prime.

The trees that Ironhide hides behind in the pool scene match the ones behind the 2 GMC's as he's finishing his scan/TF.

Prime is set further back atop that hill, and there is nothing on that horizon to gauge his actual height.

Warm mist rose from the expensive swimming pool behind the expensive house in the expensive suburb.

"Daddy says I get five dollars, but I want twenty"
Ignoring her, the robot's head swiveled to the right. The first mobile mechanism its detectors locked onto was a big black dually pickup truck parked in a nearby driveway.

    Default I have an idea!

I was thinking in order to find Bay's address someone could probubly pause the dvd each time they see an address, write it down, and then look it up on the internet. Or look for zip codes through out the movie. If it's an L.A zipcode it probubly will lead you to the rest of his address. Just a though

How is it at all confusing that the Autobot that landed in the pool was Ironhide? What's confusing about that? He gets out, hides behind the trees, and sees the truck in the driveway/front of of the house.

Here, here! How can there be such controversy over where the Autobots landed?? I'm really bewildered with such talk...

Protoform Ironhide landed in pool, got out hid behind trees as daddy runs/talks to little girl. Next cut scene is him transforming into the Topkick - it's Ironhide!

Ahem, onto Easter Eggs: we know that Sam's ebay username ladiesman217 is in reference to Michael Bay - 17 Feb being Michael's birthday (and your's truly too ) but even though it might not be an Easter egg but 217 is also the room number Starscream when to on Cybertron to get the Combaticon's personality components from prison in the episode 'Starscream's Brigade'.

The book is official...it says it's Ironhide.

Clarification...when I say "book", I mean the official novelization of the movie based on the script by Orci and Kurtzman.
