Just watched "Southland Tales" I recommend everyone watch this. I'm curious to see what people have to say

The whole movie seems not to make any sense at all...but there are some good lines, funny bits....and I couldn't stop watching it...strange but cool at the same time

It's the kind of movie where the plot will make sense to you on a random day about a year after you've watched it.

Read: Strange movie that will take multiple viewings to understand the subtext of all that is being thrown at you.

It was a cool looking movie, but the narrative is whacked.

I just watched Sweeney Todd tonight...and good God the blood. I'm still seeing red.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie, it's freakin' Johnny Depp. *drool*

    Alan Rickman....Sacha Baron Cohen....a Tim Burton film....ahhh...yes....I...liked....the...movie...

Man I'm tired and can't write a coherent review (and I have an interview in the morning ) so I shall speak to you good people tomorrow!

Don't get me wrong, it's beautifully shot and acted. Johnny can really sing, but I'm not sure what to think of Helena Bonham Carter.

The cinematography and set design is great. If you don't watch it for any other reason, watch it for just those two things.

watched superhero movie, pretty stupid, though it had its moments.Barry bonds, turning into a super hero with glowing read eyes gobbling down a bottle of steroids was pretty funny and wolverine shaving his legs using claws was classic.

tried sweeny tod and gotta say cinematography was great,as many other aspects, could'nt get into it still though.

Superhero movie is supposed to be stupid. But it does look hilarious. I'll wait for DVD though.

not so cheesy the story is good theres only one wothwhile actor, but the special effects are tv quality. It's definitly a straight to dvd movie, but so far its okay.the aliens come back in a second wave and what people are left become kinda scavengers.

The entire concept sounds entirely too cheesy.

Hey! It was Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. They make a fantastic team!

But War of the Worlds 2? It's simply not feasible since they have no immune systems to protect them from various germs on earth.

So, saw Dan in Real Life last night. It was very good. Of course I love Steve Carrell.

Tonight I'm going to see Nim's Island. It has Gerard Butler.

    HELL YES.

And then, I fly home tomorrow. And I'm beginning to like Louisiana....
