Advent Children does own on all fronts. I remember when they released the FFVII remade trailer for Ps3, everytone got so hyped about a remake, evil Square.

Juno - Great film. Original but funny, loved it.
Highlander The Source - Waste of a good franchise. Crap.

    Yup, beautiful film.

Confused the hell out of me (cuz I didn't know what the hell was going on half the time), but beautifully shot/edited (whatever the correct term is.)

The first "Highlander" is a classic, a movie I certainly have watched a dozen times or so and own on VHS, Laserdisc and DVD. The sequels are - in my opinion - utter dreck, especially "Highlander III". "Highlander: Endgame" was bearable.

Last movie: "Blades of Glory". Surprisingly entertaining.

Didn't much care for Highlander movies. I could never understand why they didn't walk around with metal callers. I know I knew people were out to kill me, and I only had one weak spot, I would damn well protect it.

lmao...you barely saw knight rider devastator?

I watched 10,000 b.c. Utter waste of time. Some visuals were stunning but as far as a story goes,it was weak...I was kinda expecting a semi beleivable movie.this was not even close.if anyone wants an explanation,I'll pm you.don't want to spoil it for anyone who does want to see it.

From what I've heard, there isn't much to spoil.

I just want to know if there's a new Dark Knight trailer ahead of it.

The Forbidden Kingdom looks nice. I always wanted a movie with both Jet Li and Jackie Chan in.

My last movie theater experience is with Transformers, and though that has been a while it holds very strong for me. I was in the theater enjoying my last family outting when my husband passed away and my life went to h**l in a hen basket. the movie renewed my love of transformers and because i have to take my kids with me to the theater it has to be a worthy movie to dish out the moola it takes for three people to go.

Sorry to hear that shade, but things will get better,at least your sons are their with you and as they get older will shoulder some burdens hopefully. But on recently seen movies I watched a movie called one hr,not yet released. it stared david carridine(kung fu) DMX(the rapper)Micheal madsen(resevior dogs/Kill bill volume 1 and 2) tommy wong, paul sorvino and kobe(I think she was a porn star)Well the movie seemed a bit rushed as far as story production, and acting goes,But the who done it was kinda cool.By the end though I'm not really sure I understood what took place.slightly confusing with all the plot twists.

That must have been a tough time for you. I lost my only brother years ago, so I think I can understand how you feel.

Also speaking as one who grew up in a single parent family, I can say mothers are most beautiful and bright heroes to their children. I and my brother used to think of ourselves as something like brave little soldiers to support and protect our honorable lady. So i guess you're greatly admired by your sons.

    Welcome to the boards!

True sora...Me and my brother were raised by my mother from the age of thirteen on.(Those years were tuff for her;Me and my brother were mean.).But we both grew to have nothing but the highest respect and regard for her sacrifices and as a person/indavidual in society.

Therefore I like the phrase "A single mother is a sacred thing" in the movie Jerry Maguire.

BTW, finally 2007's movies came out to theaters here this week.

No Countries for Old Men, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Jumper, Golden Compass, Enchanted..
But not Cloverfield yet. So, I saw The Golden Compass and Enchanted with my daughter yesterday.

The Golden Compass: Damn ice bears! (Personally I felt this movie was not my cup of tea)
Enchanted: After watching this movie, my daughter has been laughing at me like,

"Mom, I bet you'd sing this song to that huge poster like ~Does he need lips? Of course! He doesn't need battlemask!~ hee ha ha!"

I WANT HER TO STOP IT BEFORE I TURN INTO AN EVIL QUEEN.

Even though my doc says not to watch any "war" movies,I watched PLATOON last night. If you change a few things like geographics and people...Iraq???My opinion. Not everyone elses in the military. My dad was a vietnam vet and when we watched this movie he had nightmares.I was a kid.Now I see the movie differently.

Why does your doc recommend that?

    Just curious.

And Platoon is a great film.
