    There Will Be Blood

    Hmm. What can I say.

Beautifully shot movie. Another one that could have done with a little better pacing though (just a tad too slow for my taste). Even still, there are some nice scenes. Daniel Day Lewis was great. The movie was successful in immersing you in their world, at the dawn of the 20th. It had it's flaws, but overall was an interesting film, if only to see Day Lewis run the gamut of emotions as Plainview.

Oh man I just saw the most beutiful movie. It was called the good night.
It stared two actors from sean of the dead hot fuzz and run fat boy run...It didn't have the heavy set guy.Well it also stared danny devito, gwyneth paltrow and penelope cruz. When it comes to theatres I suggest all you women take your men to see it.It was a romantic drama with some lighthearted dry english jokes at times but it was overall a story about two people in a long relationship that take time out to find them selves.I can't say enouph about this movie it was excellently acted and extremly touching. based in the realities of anyone who has ever been in a serious and a committed long term relationship.

I just watched Lord of War and I must say I am surprised it even got released. Good movie definitely worth the watch but the ending makes you wonder about things you're not supposed to wonder about.

'Kay, so I did see 10,000 BC and I OBJECT to it being all sucky.... I quite enjoyed it. True it won't be on my favorites list but it was still a good idea.

Next, Vantage Point. I found it AMAAAZING!!!!!

Atonement, Across the Universe, and Stardust are also on the list. First two were ok.... Stardust is incredible.

Mars Attacks! - Very silly without ever being very funny. Uneven, and in all honesty quite dull. Some inspired moments, but overall it's one of Tim Burton's worst films.

One Missed Call - Its was ok. Certain things could of been better, but reminded me a little of Final Destination.

Carver - Sick cheap wierd film, done fairly well though.

Yah I know... weird but I did. Again, won't be in my tops but it's still good. I was more looking at the plot anyway....... it's very creative.

Mallrats - Jason Lee is da bomb in this film!

Daredevil - Watched it again. Don't know why It's not as bad as some people make it out to be I think. It's somewhat entertaining, kinda fun. I appreciate the dark atmosphere and the look of the film. Affleck is pretty good, but that Mark Steven Johnson just can't direct a good action sequence.

The Nines - Interesting movie, Ryan Reynolds plays 3 characters, shot in three different film styles. Worth a watch.

Street Kings - Solid and gritty L.A. Cop drama from David Ayers(Harsh Times), with a deep cast list.

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay - Absurd and erratic as the first, low-brow humor, I still enjoyed it.

"Elizabeth - The Golden Age". While not a bad movie, it's certainly a disappointing one. Absolutely gorgeous Teaser, a good trailer - and a movie that can't live up to either. Instantly forgettable, were it not for Cate.

Flash Point - If you're a HK/martial arts fan, you probably already know about it. If you're a casual MA fan, it's worth checking out. Donnie Yen is another favorite of mine, and as of late he's been incorporating a more versatile look to the fight choreography by adding MMA to the mix.

Sweeny Todd: You know I see how things will end five minutes into a film anyway, so it was predictable, but not bad for a musical.

Stardust: Loved De Niro's gay captain -- hysterical. I liked it.

Ben-Hur: What's not to like? There were some parts at the beginning (it was close to 4 hours long) which were slow moving -- was like okay, we get he is torn, anguish alright already, move along Can't believe I was thinking that. Bad me. But otherwise, sooo good.

Forbidden Kingdom - Not the disaster I thought it was gonna be, but hardly worthy of the pairing of JL and JC. This movie had "missed opportunity" written all over it. It's basically The Neverending Story meets wu-xia for the kiddies.

Krull - fond memories of this one. Its age is showing nowadays, but still remains a cool, little campy, movie from the days of The Dark Crystal, Space Raiders, Space Hunter, and other early 80's fantasy movies.
