According to some reports the individual components of that really detailed Devastator don't combine. Kind of a shame but it still looks like a fun toy, whether it's £100 worth of fun I'll have to think about.

All in all though good stuff, leader Prime and Sideswipe are awesome, and seeing the twins in toy form has made me like them. So much character.

From the original voice cast of "Transformers" (1984), only Peter Cullen and Charles Adler took part in the first film. However, after listening to feedback from TFans, the filmmakers elected to bring in more of the show's voice actors. In addition to Cullen and Adler, they brought back Susan Blu, Michael Bell and Rob Paulsen, and were especially interested in bringing in voicing veteran Frank Welker.

Composer Steve Jablonsky has stated that the score for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will include elements of the original Transformers theme. He had intended to include the theme in the score for the first film but the idea was rejected. After many fans very vocally made their displeasure known, the decision was made to incorporate it in the sequel.

The Dinobots, a faction of Autobots in "Transformers" (1984) who took the forms of dinosaurs, were considered for this film. Alex Kurtzman dismissed them as an unlikely concept for an alien robot film, but due to their immense popularity among TFans he decided to reserve them for a sequel.


How about they got Michael Bell as well(Prowl and Sideswipe) from the cartoon.

ok i stand corrected on the excavators name in the movie I think?... Hasbro has released the names of 6 of them but there are now two toys of the excavator with different names. One is Demolishor and one is Scavenger? WTF???? And for some reason i only see six on the Toy of Devastator.

Jetfire does use his landing gear as a cane... guess we know one battle in the movie!

Devastator is badass... guess I better start saving pennies! Sideswipe is nice- mebbe Sunstreaker is in the game?

The bike isn't Arcee- possibly another game extra? Same with the V-22- think it's Springer, but mebbe the game, as well.

I think the cane thing would be a cool feature, as long as he isn't voiced like a pimp, but more like gandalf/sarumann, deep calm voice, who only speaks words of wisdom.

judging by the size of the toys (mostly Mixmaster and the excavator) this guys aren't to scale with each other. add that with the double name and I'm having more and more trouble imagining Devastator in the movie.
