-The film's timeline is said to take place approximately one year after the original movie takes place.

-Soundwave's toy design is a combination of his movie design, and Hasbro's need for the toy to be a bit more basic. There is a reason for the way he is designed in the film, but that would be telling, which they are not.

Hey remember how someone was saying they thought that THE FALLEN had tenticals or something? Well we know at least by the toy he dont but maybe they thought the Constructicon Dozer was the Fallen because his treads do look a lot like tenticals when he transforms. And it is cool to see a Quad leged TF.
