While Jetfire is based on his original incarnation from "Transformers" (1984), his ability to combine with Optimus Prime and become the body/armour of a stronger robot comes from his "Transufoma: Maikuron densetsu" (2002) version.

ya it did but it make sence I do think that the bot in the pic isnt Jetfire but its cool to think about anyway. The bot holding the cane or landing gear looks Silver or like a protobot. Jetfire is almost all Black isnt he? Then again i guess it really could be Jetfire.... ok ok maybe not. lol This bot that Scorponok is jumping at looks to small to be Jetfire right? What of its Kup and he just carries an old landing gear that he picked up somewhere?

That Plane is All black, and if you look in the Pic below at the elbow there is a piece that is black and could resemble a tail Piece and or internal to the Blackbird, as my father actually flew blackbirds i showed him the pic and he agrees that with a 85% chance that that bot does transform into a Blackbird....
