Just so I don't miss it If I happen to leave the room for something, Does anybody know exactly when they are going to show the TF2 commercial dureing the super bowl? I know its going to be dureing half time but when is that? One hour in? Two hours in?

So,

The Super Bowl spot is coming Sunday in the third Quarter (few minutes into the quarter slot). The spot will be online a few minutes after that - The full length teaser trailer will only be on Friday the Thirteenth. It will not hit the internet until a week later. The Teaser really only teases stuff - I'm holding so much stuff back from the final trailers because I personally hate going to movies where you have seen it all.

I hope it's longer than 30 seconds. A 30-second Bayhem spot is over in a blink of an eye. I remember the SB spot for Armageddon, that one was longer than 30 seconds. It was 61 seconds to be exact.

I can't cry you a river. I have too much work on my plate as it is. And my melodrama is just my reaction to the studio (or maybe it's Bay himself) using a trailer (which is a commercial) to put butts into seats of a movie that isn't highly anticipated. Am I really the only one that sees the irony?

For those that don't know (say those that don't call football soccer), the Superbowl is the championship game for American football. The game usually starts about 6:00PM EST. While on paper a quarter is 15 minutes long, in reality due to commercials, time-outs, penalties, etc, they really last about an hour each. Half time is another 30 minutes. So grand total, my estimate of when the trailer will appear in the third quarter is around 8:15pm EST. That is a very rough estimate.

I see a lot of the Super Bowl spots for other movies are already up, like G.I. Joe, Fast & Furious, Land of the Lost, Up, etc. Any chance the TF2 spot will be online earlier?

True that, but if you remember what happened for the first one, when the Dec.'06 teaser was scheduled to launch. A french website jumped the gun and had it up before the official debut.

Im sure they got it on lock until game time, but so close to the launch day, anything could be possible.
