This show is terrible. It's not even Hasselhoff cheesy. Has nothing to do with nostagia either. It's got better production value than it's predecessor no doubt (despite the amateur overkill on that car), and calling it an acquired taste is what I would call it as well. But you're kidding yourselves if you don't see it's inherent lame-ness as a show.

I too, was also under the impression it was on the chopping block.
I have no doubt that the show is aweful. I mean it looks like they pulled out a car from Tokyo drift for pete's sake. but still, our man Peter Cullen is get work. That's more than I can say for me.

The Predator? As in The "Your one Ugly Mother F----er" Predator? Thats the only one I'm familiar with, unfortunately.

From what I've seen, the KARR robot looks Very Bad Ass. And its interesting to Hear Peter Cullen Voice a Villain. Most times when ever I heard him, He's voiced nice characters.

He voiced KARR back in the day for one KR episode. Obviously the sound is better these days, but you can still tell it's him. :3

It's on Youtube if you wanna see it. XD

Nutty how original ideas or ideas everyone thinks is stupid...

When done right everyone wants "in".

Think of this if you worked for paramount and didn't have Bay and Spielberg on your side walking in saying, "Yea this 1980's cartoon series; I think there is something there.". (I know Mr. Spielberg had the idea not Paramount, so just go with the flow here)

Now that just means Mike and crew have to do more to make themselves even more standout from the crew of copycats... Which is good for us I think
The only thing worse than stupid people are stupid people who bother me...

I was referring recent characters, but you’re right he did voice KARR back in 82.

Well after tonight's show ,it is supposed to be the end of season 1. There has been no word of whether or not the show gets axed or gets the go ahead for season 2. Even tho' the producers started listening to the fans on ways to improve the show getting back the classic Knight Rider feel they still have a good ways to go with improving the scripts. It has certainly gotten better but they shouldn't try to plan to much too far ahead of time. Most of the past few episodes were written before the first episodes were. Then after listening to the fans they had to go back and reshoot some scenes for these episodes.

Just saw it. Ugh. Watching this show is like beating yourself with a giant cactus 50 times. I'd give it a 0.5 out of 5. The 0.5 goes to the fact that I heard Peter Cullen's voice for a total duration of 45 seconds.

Plus, not only it's a blatant rip-off of Transformers, but they ripped it off....poorly.

I'm a little sad at the episode as well. I expected way more battle than pity-party. They rushed it WAY too much at the end. Cullen's voice was badass as Karr though.

A part of me keeps thinking we probably haven't seen the last of karr. The writers did that the first time, and he ended up being reconstructed and even more pissed off. Methinks they may do something similar in the future (assuming the show still airs).

I sort of agree with him too. It looked like they took a Two Part episode and crammed it into one. The battle was good, but it was way too short. Months of build up and its over in three minutes. The only reasion for such a short battle in my opinion is if Peter Cullen is still doing voice work for revenge of the fallen and there was no time for more dialog.

According to Knight Rider Online, NBC reduced the budget for KR08 and the poor effects last night was the result.
