Soundwave is in the second issue of Alliance. He is first seen on Mars where he finds the body of Dreadwing. How he found his way to Mars or just why he is there was not explained but from the way the writers wrote it Soundwave has not been on Cybertron for some time and is not aware of whats happend on Earth with Megatron's death and the whole Reign of Starscrem. At the end of the comic Starscream gets a sigle from Soundwave just after Starscream fights Wreckage. Starscream meets up with Soundwave and Soundwave tells him he is seending reinforcments to Earth (where i can make out at least 11 protoform D-cons makeing their way to Earth) And tells Starscream that there are more in stases back on Soundwave's ship on Mars. Starscream says he will go and get the others in stases and return in force. As Soundwave says basicly do as you wish I have orders to follow.
So now as Soundwave and his group head for Earth, Starscream is heading to Mars to wake the rest of the Decepticons Soundwave left behind in Stases. I think it would be safe o say this may be where Starscream gets his new allies from. He will probably lie to them once revived and give them a true Starscream lieing out his ass story of what happend to Megatron and how Soundwave is also now lost it and brings whatever Decepticons on the ship to Earth as his own. And as for Soundwave telling Starscream he has his orders to follow? Who gave Soundwave what orders? The only other high ranking D-con I can think of that would give orders to Soundwave would be Shockwave![]()

That would be cool if it were Shockwave giving Soundwave the orders. I don't know why but Shockwave was always one of my favs.

IGN: Last time we spoke, you revealed that Soundwave was in the movie and hinted at the possibility of Ravage, so I'm wondering if you can say anything more about what new characters will be in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Orci: So I said Ravage... maybe?
IGN: Pretty much, yeah.
Orci: [As if giving a big reveal] Ravage!
IGN: [Laughs] Damn, I should have told you that you said Ravage for sure!
Orci: Hmm… I'll give you an exclusive here. There is a Pretender. I'm going to get killed for saying that.
IGN: Well thank you for taking one just for us.
Orci: All for you.
IGN: Storywise, how does the sequel compare to the first one?
Orci: It's an extreme [jump] from the first one. The outrageous, crazy humor is more outrageous, but then so is the serious side of it and so is the stakes of the Transformers plot and the seriousness with which some of their mythology is treated. So it kind of swings wildly between those two extremes, and that I think was one of the successful parts of the first movie. Again, some of the die hard fans will be equally annoyed at some of the things they see, but I can also say they will be more gratified than they were for the first one, to see how some of the Transformers story and how their battle takes place in the second one.
IGN: There was a leaked image the other day of a Sideswipe toy. I don't even know if Sideswipe is in the movie, since the toys sometimes include extra characters, but the look of this toy was more like the original Transformers than the first film. On the design side, are the Transformers looking the same in this one, or are there some tweaks?
Orci: Well, you know, your favorites – Optimus and Bumblebee – look the same. Some of the new Transformers coming up, even the old Transformers that we had, have benefited from the fact that -- I actually heard this from ILM -- because they had all the rendering and the stuff from the first movie, they were able to get much more specific and articulate with their range of motion and emotions in the second movie, which has a bigger budget and it has all that research and development sunk into the original models. So there's going to be more articulation of the characters facially, so I'm looking forward to seeing that. I have not seen how far they've taken it.
How much do the comics run? I bought the first prequel comic for the first film and the pages fell out before I got it home so I'm skeptical. I should be able to pick up both at the local ACME Comics

I think they are $3.99 per issue. I subscibed to both though.
I completely agree. I've been giddy ever since Bay clarified the Super Bowl spot. I'm always excited about the Super Bowl anyways and the fact I have DVR is awesome. My friends all think I'm mental because of my obsession but it keeps me happy. Everyone has a thing, I just wish I would have followed it more after the 80's but things change. I've been obsessed since the first teaser, I thought I had the first film figured out until I actually saw it. This time nobody has a friggin clue. It's awesome
Just think, we get our first taste in 18 days![]()

Alan Dean Foster is writing the next prequel novel titled The Veiled Threat, out April 28.
I read that when writing the prequel, Foster talked to IDW so that the novel and the comic series would not contradict each other.
I wish I knew what 'Veiled Threat' is referring to. Any ideas?![]()
I say Unicron. I mean Bay and company did say that after the first movie if they could pull off a Unicron story they would so...... just a thought. ON and i just re-read the second issue of Alliance and caught something i didnt the first time. We all know that Starscream took Frenzy's body(minus a head) back to Cybertron because the info Frenzy had in his mem banks was needed to re-build the Allspark right? Ok so in the Second issue of Alliance while Starscream and Wreckage are fighting, Wreckage cuts across Starscream's chest and out falls Frenzy's head which falls right in front of Simmons who i guess probably takes the head so now Frenzy has once again been interduced into the story. But where did he get the head? The body he had was headless which again I assume was the body that was left behind after he(Frenzy) attacked Sam and his head was cut off. But that Head latter turned into the second Frenzy in the movie and he latter took himself out with one of his own throwing stars and only took off half of his head. So where the Hell did this Head come from and Why reinterduce Frenzy's head? Is that a hint he might be back?

ok its time get my issue nowordering...
lmao off loved the interview, but as for shadows story sounds like alot of fan fiction lol:lol but well see if soundwave has been on mars the whole time... I know he and many other bots haven't otherwise megs woulda sent for them and in the movie they said that the shadow appeared to be the same form as blackout.so I'm pretty sure that was what was intended by that statement.

lmao .I didnt say he was on Mars the whole time. I said he showed up on Mars and the Writers didnt explain where he came from but that he(soundwave) didnt have any idea on what happend so this would mean he (soundwave) has not been on Cybertron for quite some time and was somewhere else in space doing only Primus knows what. Starscream told him about Megatron's death and even called him Soundwave and Soundwave told Starscream he has orders and was sending reinforcments to Earth as Starscream headed back to Soundwave's ship to get the others Soundwave left in stases. And nothing about Soundwave being on Mars in this issue has anything to do with the first movie AT ALL!!!!
hey did anyone know that there was a rumor of a potential vehicle apparently being spotted on set for Astrotrain?![]()
nope though I saw a casting calls vid with a astro train and blitzwing pic.
