TF: ROTF Opening Day

A trailer has not been released yet, but I can't wait for when TF2 comes out. I was not able to see transformers when it first came out, so I'm hoping to make up for it. I'm planning to arrive 3 hours before hand with prepaid tickets and the Reign of Starscream, and destiny comics to pass the time.
I don't care if there is a downpour.
But I do hope everything goes well.

Does anyone have any stories of the Transformers Movie opening day? I trying to get a idea of the magnitude. I keep thinking of the Star Wars lineups and people having block parties in line.

Well, I actually drank two tall cans, then went in to the movie openning day.the crowd participation was awsome.people laughed at the jokes and someone yelled fuck yhea when sam first met optimus prime and he transformed, and said sam wittwicky? I'm optimus prime! You could feel the nostalgia and remminiscent through the theater the entire time, throughout the duration of the film...I also loved that it was a long film,I honestly didn't want it to end. I wanted to see what was up with starscream.

I got to the theater 2 hours early and me and my friends brought tents because it was raining and we talked about TF stuff and we thought it would be about.
when we were finally allowed in everyone went CRAZY!
still it was worth the wait!

You too think it'll be chaotic on the first night? Yeah, I have a feeling that it'll be a bit more peaceful the next morning.. but a crazy atmosphere of the opening night still sounds attractive..

It is very alluring knowing you can go nuts and everyone around you wont care cause theyre dorks too and doing the same thing what with screaming when giant robots are battling it out and screaming like banshees.

But where I live, you can't go to a movie theater and leave and not be surrounded by Playboy bunnies. DX

Here in Japan, general audiences are too politely and deadly silent in theaters even in the opening night. It's a very boring sight to see. That's why I'll go fly to U.S. just to see this movie.

Yup, I'd rather not name the exact destination here but I already booked flights and an accommodation..


Besides, I guess it won't hit Japanese theaters till August. I can't wait!

I'm ordering La Premiere tickets as soon as possible so that when the day comes, I don't have to wait three hours at the cinema door just to get a good seat. ^^ I just go to the seat that was assigned to me. Woot! And they serve booze at La Premiere! That's a major plus! :lol Oh, and free popcorn too! Hehe! It's all good!

I saw it opening day, and just strolled in with the wife. Got two seats on the side in the middle by ourselves. We only got their about an hour early, but I will be seeing it opening day no matter what. I think I am going to take a vacation day to see it. Might as well, I have 4 weeks worth of them.

I went the morning after the first night showing; it was still packed. What I remember was how there were people from all age ranges there enjoying it. It was one of the first movies I've been to in a long time where the people stayed long into the credits talking about what they just saw. I hung out in the parking lot with a few people who were sitting near me and we had a long conversation about it.

I might take a chance and go to the very first showing this time around. Who knows, can't wait though.
