I saw those!I wondered about heat issues inside the motors getting stuck.Id hate to have them stay open.Ill have to research.they look cool though.Im gonna get the cosmetics and interior done next.Im gonna hold off on the drivetrain though.i wanna get a bare dart block, then save..buy pistons..and so forth till i get enough parts to build a block.then im switchin to a stick shift.I hate automatics.i keep slammin the brake to shift!? Ive done it too many times already.Once the right setup is in.then ill do the cutouts.right now it has a 1965 283 block, flat top pistons, roller chain, mild cam,305 heads with 1.71.valves edlebrock performer intake, quadrajunk carb.(it sucks...no pun)and headers.I just had exhaust run from the glass packs back .ill add the cutouts later on once i have something with KA-Ho-NEES!*ahemn,ya know hwatta mean?

I actually intended on using the rustoluem and roller technique I saw on youtube. It looked easy, but my wife said,"Make it cherry right away."I thought about it and agreed with her.My uncle had his interior to his 66 chevelle done yellow and black.Ill take pics and post them tomorrow .his chevelle is like an exterra yellow and the interior is blk/yllw.i wanna do the same for a clean look.I wanted the beater look but feel it to be a waste of time.i wanna cherry her out for daily use.I hate the fact it came with mouse poop that flew out when I turned on the defrost.(Hanta virus is deadly around here.)So I wanna put everything new.For the childrens sake.appearance isnt really a must right now,not too many people will care.especialy with the coming of 2.new robots and vehicles and all to inspire other car owners.Im just a five second fame story with the replicar thing(barricade).although I do want to paint her the new camaro colors.does anyone know the paint color codes?im guessin black(standard gloss)maybe a yellow, microflake?,gold pearl combo?oh well, ill keep posted too.

Honestly, I would go for a complete clone of the Camaro from the movie. Hard to do, but well worth it. If you want to know how they did it for the film to get some ideas, contact the custom builders themselves.

On a side note, I will probably be going to Italy in July and I'll will for sure take the best tour I can of the Ferrari plant.

thanks!im starting interior now, painting black parts with krylon fusion.(pillar posts, sail panels, etc.)tearing carpet out today with mask on,rubber gloves, and bleach water.theres mouse poop everywhere.you are positive about the codes right?i wanna make sure i get that color.the 1976 and the 2010 looked different in shade.i want that orange-ish color and that pearl look, like the 2010.i know,i know, the 76 was dulled but still looked bright yellow at times.gonna have my uncle help me shoot this one.who did yours Casey?

Mine was done by a shop called Drippin' Paint and Body. However, I do NOT recommend them. At all, to anyone. Except Mustake owners. hehehehe
