xXRavenXx I doubt they were second unit shots as they involved main actors, ( but some I believe could have been, but with very tight shoot scheduals) and as Nelson posted, I believe it was done conciously.
And Nelson, I dont mean to correct you on everything you think you know...(no offense, I just had to use that line from the movie, sorry Nelson.)
I have to differ with you. A jump cut is a jump cut, not a jump time laps, that would be a continuity break. A jump cut is totally different then what happens with the time laps in TF.
Continuity---one shot it's day time-next shot it's evening!
Jump Cut---one shot is a medium close up, next shot it is very slightly tighter, but pretty much the same shot.
There is a BIG difference.
EDIT: A continuity break is when an actor holds something, next shot it is in the wrong hand, similar with this, one shot it is daylight, next shot it is dusk, but totally different shots so the jump cut law doesnt apply.
