I dont know if there is a thread for this yet, if there is sorry. but I love slasher flicks (i cant remember who said it in an earlier thread but i agree, i am not a big fan of torchure movies, saw, hostel) and i liked the rob zombie remake of halloween so i think this one looks pretty kool.
also i heard some were there will be a childs play 1 remake ... could be good if Brad Dourif does the voice of chucky.

This thread pretty much sums up the straw that broke the camels back on why I decided to register. "Beautiful Snowflake"...I hate to resort to such petty insults, but "Horror Fagz" sounds more appropriate if you ask me.

Also, don't you guys find it funny that Horror sequels are basically remakes of the origional... so if we are getting really nitpicky they are remaking themselves. Why not have a reboot rather than making Friday the 13th part eleven-teen...

Yeah, but I think Raven was speaking in general terms.

But to add to that, I recently rented the original on Blu-Ray just for shits and giggles, yeah it doesn't. By that, I mean the practical FX look dated. More for the pure nostalgia/camp factor, but the execution is straight up fromage now.

Looking forward to the new one.

That trailor is sure works its fear on me. I jumped a few times during the part where the chick pulls back the shower curtain. It always gets me when I'm watching TV in the dark before bed. I can't see the movie because it'll cause a breakdown, but it looks scary enough.
