Thread: Forget the Middle East, he's in France right now...

  1. Forget the Middle East, he's in France right now...

    ... in Paris, more specifically.

And this is what he was shooting: L'Arc de triomphe.

Now that was weird... I was walking home from work, and just happen to see a small group of people around a camera... When I got closer, I saw that Bay was riding it (literally). The last thing I would have expected is to see Bay shooting in my neighbor.

The scene was about a news anchor from CNN doing a report... It feels like main photography is getting closer to the end.

Producer Ian Bryce was here as well.

NOTE: this is a stock photo of L'Arc de Triomphe, but from where Bay was shooting it, you will probably get the same angle, with the actor standing in front of the camera.

What was your reaction when you saw him?

None really. You don't want to intrude either. But like I said, it did feel weird.

Most of the people watching were tourists. Some of them were American, and they did not know who he was. Now that's ironic.

I hope he and his crew stay Paris for a while and there'll be another chance for you to see them.

A brilliant piece of technology which allows me to call anybody anytime anywhere in the world... but a brilliant piece of crap as well that doesn't have a camera in it.

I didn't even know they made phones without cameras. Hell, my house phone has a camera on it.

that's only because my house phone is a cell phone, but yeah.

NO WAY!!! I *love* getting my passport stamped. I've never been to Paris, though. France, Italy and Japan are huge on my list. I hardly get to travel, but I absolutely love it. I can fill a duffel bag in ten minutes and I'm gone, baby!

Not that I don't want to travel, I've just always had to work and my work never took me anywhere... and I think the last time I took a vacation was 2004, and it was to take my folks back to their hometowns and see where they came from, etc. Other than a four day weekend I don't get out much. Sleeping in an extra hour is a treat for me you know.

A nice picture - from a camera phone that I don't have - would have done the job.

Anything else looks more like I am trying to justify myself.

Hopefully - for my own sake - the scene will end up in the movie... That should do it.
