Thread: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Default Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

The shooting in the the Middle East is ground breaking - an awesome time had by all the crew.

The Transformer Ride at Universal making all the press rounds - not sure yet - they had me in a press release saying I supported it - but Universal has a long way to go in my mind. I don't support it yet - I'm not involved and not sure the story of the ride works, and I know Optimus is not going to just show up to be directed by some new people that have never worked with him. I hate when people bullshit a quote from me that I never said.

I'll keep you informed. Maybe the guy making the rides at Universal will direct Transformers 3????

Cool the rumours were true then. Glad everything went so well you seem really excited about this film which only serves in making me even more hyped than I already was.

As for the ride well I hope you have as much involvement as you can with it. Not something I'm particularly interested in but I know alot of fans are, so they deserve the best.

Thanks for the input Mike. Haven't heard from you lately and I know you are a busy man trying to finish TF2. As for the TF ride, sounds cool when I heard the rumor of it and some of the concept of the ride. Well I know you have a busy schedule but i hope you have some involvement in that project. Also please don't give away TF3 to someone else to direct. We want you Mike. Again thank you for taking your time and update us.

Welcome back from the Middle East. We missed you so much.

Okey, I remove "visiting Universal Studios" from my to-do-list unless you produce The Ride. We don't want "some new guy" for TF3.
Thank you for updating and dropping by your forum.

EDIT: I assumed you've come back to the United States. Is all the crew in the Middle East now?

Thanks for the info Mike, oh and by the way, Transformers wouldn't be Transformers if you weren't at the helm. Please consider TF3

Please come back to direct TF3

But should you decide to not direct, at least be a producer and let one of your proteges from your Platinum Dunes films to direct it unless of course someone like Spielberg or Cameron (wishful thinking) decide to take the helm.

But its like what Spielberg said, you were born to direct Transformers and everyone here would agree.

Thanks for the updates from the middle east.

If and when the time comes you get tired of making Trans Former movies I think you should consider the Thundercats movie they have been wanting to make. What you have done with TF has been just amazing. I can just imagine what you could do with the Thundercats. Well, anyhow, Keep up the good work and glad to have you back states side.

    re: Optimus, hahaha!

I'm pleased you surfaced to talk about this because the press release was really vague. Your level of actual involvement was the first thing I wondered about. A ride would be super-fun, I'd love to see it, but not at the expense of you losing any of the credit you deserve for making the franchise everything it is. Nothing's ever cheap or flimsy when you're involved and I've always appreciate that.

And I hope you don't bail out on TF3!

I think its great that Transformers is getting a ride. I personally have never been to Universal Studios but I know one thing about them. They had the Jurassic Park ride. For your film to get that is HUGE. I cant even name another ride at Universal studios. So as far as im concearned they have Jurrassic Park and now Transformers. It seems the ride is not gonna be around till like 2011 thats plenty of time for you to iron out creative problems with the story and what not. Im sure in the End the ride will be great. Who wouldnt want to take their kids on a Transformers ride that is so SICK! I never even got to ride a ferris wheel till I was like 18! lol. The ride is gonna make a lot of new the new generation of fans very happy. Gives them another way to interect with the Transformers.

    Dear Michael,

I apologize if this idea has been presented to you already, never thought about actually writing you in person. I'm an Army Reserve Firefighter out of Irvine CA. If you google the TFFT (Tactical Fire Fighting Truck) I'm sure it would make for one helluva Robot. If you need pics, tour, any info please let me know. I'm sure you've probably already seen it, but just in case you have not, it's worth checking out. Maybe for TF 3? Anyways, good luck with TF 2, cannot wait to see it!

the transformers should start their own union. i can see them becoming like slaves if no action is taken place. they're going to be used in movies, tv shows, rides, toys, everything...doesn't OP have any rights?!!?!!?!?
