blu-ray disks

I'm a scuba diver who takes high def videos and then down load them onto a blue ray disk using a blu-ray burner. The disc don't load properly on my Samsung blu-ray player. Does anyone know what the problem is. The disc eject button also doesn't work when the disc is in. This only happens with my discs. Commerical blu-ray movies operate well. I'd appreciate any body giving me some tech help on this issue:wtf

Good question. I am thinking it might be a compatiblity issue. When was your player manufactured? Some players are not compatible with the BD-R discs yet. I'd check the tech specs on the player to be certain.

Wait? Is there a blu ray burner on the market now? My dad has an HD camera and I'm taking my HD DVD player home for him to play with his HD disks.

Maybe it only works on HD DVD players. *shrug*
