What about Prowl??

I think Prowl would be great in the movie. I've seen the old cartoons, and he seems like a serious type. He would be a wonderful character next to Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Ratchet. (Not really Optimus because he's pretty serious already.)

I don't think there's any chance of them killing Prime. Hasbro already said they'd never make that mistake again, plus he's Bay's favourite character. Furthermore Orci said on the "ask Roberto" forum at TFW2005 that Prime's really going to live up to his name in this one and get lots of screen time and kick lots of ass.

I hope he's telling the truth. I don't want to see somebody else step up and try and fill Prime's shoes. Ya I want to see the other robots get good screen time and a lot of good action but at the end of the day, Prime needs to be the hero. He got screwed out of it the last two movies, now it's go-time.

I guess first I should say, I'm really just angry because of Jazz and news of his possible ressurection makes me more angry.

Cause whats the point?

Even if prime dies just like Captian America or Superman, Via Multiverse, time-storm or paradoxing plot you know he is comin back, and he will probably come back all Nucleon Quest black or in a new combine with trailer form. Megatron was barely gone a season and he seems to have grown several dozen wheels, and a proper cannon imagine what prime could get if he vacationed in the other side of the matrix for a year.

I really like the prowl silent ninja idea, I guess it comes from Animated with the bike mode. but I assume he will be the Wolverine type next movie [look at the claws!]

If you go to transformerslive.com Hasbro has fessed up. Megs is in it. He is a tank (an alien tank). The silver Corvette is Sideswipe. Ravage is in it. Then the was something about Devastator. I forgot what was said about him.

The Hasbro Licensing Summit was recently held at Kuala Lumpur the capital city of Malaysia and according to TFW2005 the toy news provides some new insight into the characters for the film.

The summit revealed the true name the Chevy Corvette Centennial as Sideswipe, so the place-holder name of Stinger no long applies.

In addition, they confirmed that Ravage, described as having a "very raw beast mode", will be in the film. I assume this is the same creature design seen on the Princeton set a few months ago that was named Frenzy for lack of a better identifier.

Next, the summit verified that Megatron's alt mode is a tank which confirms that the leaked images are possible design attempts for that alt mode. No confirmation on whether the designs are exact matches for what will be used in the film.

TFW2005 is also reporting their inside source has said that the toy line for Devastator will merge to form a Supreme sized figure. For Hasbro, a Supreme class tends to be the toys in the $50 MSRP range.

There is also a toy report on an Italian website here. A Babel Fish translation was a bit jumbled. The best I can tell they are saying that there will be assortments comprising of Devastator and Jetfire. A new gimmick for the Deluxe line will include gears that appear to transform similar to the movie. Bumblebee will have a gun with blades and something to do with a helmet. The site also verifed the tank mode for Megatron. Hopefully our international readers can provide a better translation.

So to sum, two new Transformers characters to add to the list - Sideswipe and Ravage. Alt mode for Megatron is a tank. And the rumor of Devastator continues.
