What do people think of the bonus features so far? For those that haven't checked them out yet, you can watch behind-the-scenes clips in real time PiP and listen to Michael's commentary while you watch the movie.

"Our World" gives you insight into MB's vision for the film taking the TFs from toys to on screen stars.

"Intelligence Mode" was one of the first BD-Live features, and you can follow the vitals and GPS coords of each Transformer - it's awesome. Bay was totally right to demand Blu-ray transformersmovie.com

What features are people liking? disliking? people heard anything about the next wave of BD-live?

Its horrible, wrong, and mean!

I mean the fact that I don't have blu-ray nor an HD TV...


One day, years from now maybe... I will get to experience Transformers in an HD quality... one day...

At least I can look forward to IMAX TF:ROTF, I wont watch it any other way, first that is.

I finally updated my Sony BDP-S350 yesterday! When I pressed my "Watch Blu-ray" Macro button (Harmony 880) (approx. 5:15pm Pacific, Sat. 9-27-08) and since my Ethernet cable was already connected, ... the 1st message was to update my BDP-S350 Firmware, ... so I did!


Afterwards, I checked the BD Live function with:

1) Men In Black
2) Forbidden Kingdom
3) Transformers

... and ALL BD Live functions worked A-OK!!!


FYI: Transformers** BD Live vs. HD DVD example:

B) HD DVD Web Enabled Features "Intelligence Mode"


NOTE: The HD DVD still has the "Sector 7" stolen Short (some funny) Videos x7, ... the BD Live does not!!!

Only disapointment is the BD Live "Intelligence Mode" movie screen is zoomed and the left side is cropped-off by approx. 1/5!!!

The HD DVD version re-scales the 2.35:1 AVC-encoded 1080p transfer screen to fit within the "Intelligence Mode" overlay.

I love & enjoy all these behind-the-scene & back-story Web downloads, ... but based on Blu-ray "Transformers" BD Live "Intelligence Mode" cropped movie screen, ... I'll keep the HD DVD version just a little while longer!
