Yeah. Many people will be confused about two Primes.

Could be Nemesis Prime
and plus the autobots refer to him as Optimus
Only Megatron who's dead refered to Optimus as Prime
No Nemesis prime. It is as lame as KITT and KARR from the Knight Rider series.

Is there any more news/rumours of another "prime" in the sequel........rodimus or otherwise????
Perhaps the geriatric bot that Bay hinted at ????
I dunno........I'm just throwing another log into the fire. perhaps the other "prime" and news of a geriatric bot are linked together somehow, or the idea was scrapped.
It could very well be that Bay is pulling a fast one. Geriatric could mean anything.........even Grimlock
Two Primes, Is Nemesis Prime even a G1 character? (I'm not sure)
But two Primes is no good idea.
I don't think its a good idea either!
It would just be a cheap way to market a Black or white repaint of Optimus Prime. It wouldn't be so bad if the two primes shared similar features..i.e head sculpts etc, but had different alt modes like in the "Car robots/ RID" series
I don't think Bay's transformers are limited to the G1 era. He has the whole universe at his disposal
We'll see what happens
Or it could be like Windrazor from Botcon... where 2 sparks merged together, a young decepticon and an old autobot. I dont' remember the whole story behind it, but thought it was interesting.. it could also mean A3 as well. He was a big part of the story line too. I don't care for the way they made Ratchet in the Animated series as an old transformer.

He may not give a crap about Hasbros' side of things, but Hasbro still has a big say in the matter. After all, they are the company that has the "Transformers" name trademarked. They've pretty much owned and created it since they brought it over from Japan in 84'. I'm sure that if he decided to do something and Hasbro didn't like the idea and he continued with it anyways, there'd be some major scrapping going on...
Agreed![]()

I disagree. Trademark/copyright laws just mean you can't sell someone else's ideas as your own and profit from them......Bay could do whatever he wants
Ok.. from your statement, you just basically agreed with me. How is that a disagreement? Bay can't sell Hasbro's trademarked/copywritten material as his own and profit from it without their say so. Which includes him making a movie about them. He would be after all trying to sell the movie.
well with the hasbro vs bay thing on copywright i think they both look for ideas they made a arcee & wreckage both didnt make it to the movie due to budget or movie length not sure bout that. its not that bay dont care i think, but he has to look at budget + movie length.
