I doubted there is a teaser cuz of the following facts:

- they're still filming
- Bay is too busy filming to cut up a teaser for us right now
- they already said marketing will happen in November
- remember the 2nd teaser (the one that says "Some will protect us")? That one came out in December 2006 which was well after they were done filming in the summer of that year
- if there was going to be a teaser, at all, it would be black, Decepticon logo, fade to black, Revenge is coming, Summer 2009.....that's it
- they should wait til all the footage is done before they make a teaser

Roberto Orci said there would be no teaser like the Mars teaser this time, the first teaser will be a proper teaser trailer. My money's on Quantum of Solace.

The first teaser hit the net 24 hours before the release of the movie. I am confident that we will see the trailer online before it hits the theaters.

That sucks. I would think that the online launch would drive additional people to a theatre to see it on the big screen.

Okay, someone posted on IMDB that the Corvettes identity has been revealed to be Sideswipe. If that were true, don't you think his twin would be there as well? I mean, you really can't have one without the other.

ya well it seems that this info has come from Hasbro themselfs and that the Vett is Sideswipe!! I said the same thing as if that was true then where is Sunstreaker? I to feel this is false info but it has been thrown out there by Hasbro.

They're not following the twins story idea. Its just Sideswipe plain and simple.

They needed a fitting name for the car and they pulled the name from a random bunch in a hat

Just cause they're using Sideswipe doesn't mean Sunstreaker will be there too. I don't mean this in a negative way, but do you really think Bay cares THAT much about everything the fans want? Brawl/Devastator..everyone forget about that all of a sudden? I know that officially it's Brawl but Bay always liked Devastator better, I'm sure that's a part of why the name was never corrected.

Sideswipe is a bad-ass robot and Bay likes bad-ass shit. If it is Sideswipe and Sunstreaker doesn't make the cut this time around, I'm sure he'll be in the next one anyway so meh..it's not a big deal if you ask me.

I just think it's sad to break the twins up. I'm a multiple myself (triplet) and it's always nice to see fictional characters with that kind of bond. We don't really see it that much anymore, at least not characters that can totally kick butt and aren't creepy. I know they don't look alike, but that's what makes me like them so much!

see!!! And everyone is going for it. I love how people jump on everything and run with it cause someone else(even Hasbro) says its real info. I say this... until a list of names is released and faces of the bots are put together, im still not convinced the Vett is Sideswipe. And you said it rage... to you its just a name. But to some its not. A lot of people would like to know for sure if Sideswipe is alone in this movie or if Sunstreaker will be in the movie. I do know that Bay did want the Vett to be Hotrod and to be honest with all... I would rather it be Hotrod. Also then... if the Trax and Beat are not the twins then why would they give them the same rims to give them a likeness. We all know that the twins in the cartoons were not always the same Lambos so they could be the Trax and Beat and given the rims to show they have something in common as for being brothers. My point is if the trax and beat are not the twins then so be it but I stick to the Vett not being Sideswipe either. OH!! And I will say this as well... If there is going to be three times as many bots in the next movie then there is no reason why both twins cant be in the movie.
