I read about the filming...too bad it was stock photography in the article. The C17 pictured is from the Royal Air Force. I would love seeing it's massive cannon in action in TF1. I really hope Bay uses the plan for more than a stationary prop...it is a work of art!

um... Chip I dont think the C-17 carries a cannon or any weapons for that matter. She is only maned by a three man crew. Pilot, co-pilot and loadmaster. The C130 has the big cannon that you see in TFs 1. In the Airforce while I was at Sheppard AFB, I was able to fly on the C-130s all the time and even got to fire some of the C-130 gunships smaller guns. I do have the stats for the C-17 though.

hey you do know that they are also releasing a trade paperback book of Reign of Starscream in November that is going to explane what the comics couldnt and lend more of a tie-in to the next movie. I have three copies on order now for me and two of my fav peeps on the Boards. You gals know who you are
