There was some precedent in color swapping Ironhide at least.
I'm not so sure that Movie Ironhide has that much to do with G1 Ironhide though other than he's a bit of an old scrapper too [good fighter].

I'd have seen an updated Ironhide more as something like a Dodge Calibur than a giant GM pick up Truck - the Universe and Timelines version are a decent attempt - but Movie Ironhide's pick up truck mode is I suppose suggestive of G2 & RID Ironhide and in terms or colors the Diaclone original - that was black.

I'm not bothered by color if there's other aspects to draw on that suggest the character - when they reuse old names/characters.

The Trax certainly might make a pretty darn fine Brawn. even if it is red. as it's 4X4 and yet it's also tiny - which works well for the character.

- Constructicons/big-ass robots are coming for sure
- 3 times as many robots (which by my calculations, including Skorponox, is 39 that's probably an exaggeration..but still..I think we can expect at least 20)
- highly demanded fan favourites will be showing up
- no guarantee of Cybertron

Everything you mentioned above was what he said he said but he didn't say Constructicons or Devastator.....the interview said it and he just acknowledged him but didn't confirm or deny it. He didn't say yes or no.

I wouldn't pass off that info as confirmed so early

But yeah he did mention 3 times more robots. I dunno, that might be an exaggeration. That's too much in my opinion. Two times is a good number. Like 22 is fine.

At 30 robots, like 12 vs 18, you will see so little character development. You will also see lots of Tranformer fodder, mostly Decepticon fodder. It will probably be lots of scenes like Bonecrusher. Amazing entrance and introduction but weak execution (as in being executed).

If they really had 30 robots, we will see lots of Decepticon dying easily and Autobot deaths with no emotional impact because we barely cared for them.

Ya that's true I guess. I'll take my chances on them though. I can't see them not being in the movie, he said pick three or four favourite characters off the top of your head and they're probably in the movie and the Constructicons have been demanded since forever so..I think they'll be in and they'll be unbelievable.

TFW2005 has a source.... Apparently. Only they know who he/she/it is and they won't say.

While i don't know enough about the Fallen storyline in TF folklore to be able to say whether i like the idea or not i can say i'm VERY wary of this so called source.

I strongly suspect that this source is nothing more than the TFW heads sitting around coming up with things to punk the board members with.... But when i made my concerns vocal (Maybe a bit too vocal) i got a bashing from either a mod or an admin....

These 07 Decepticons are a lot like DOOM and his bots, when they should be more like a leigon of Super-Villans, each has their own desires and honor but theyre all Jerks. Hopfully there will be a lot of JUST bot scenes in this 09 movie, where the Cons argue and actually come up with a half reasonable plot to take something from us. Otherwise Starscream might as well fly to the drone clone factory on Cybertron and flick the switch to on

I'm liking that Big ass robots bit, even without a Gestalt.

A cruiser or building sized TF would be pretty cool... I always say only the Dinobots could beat Devastator, but Omega supreme, Sky Garry or any big bot could hold him down while they gas up their flamethrowers.

If there are less Autobots but one of them is the Fort Max they flew in on it would really even things up.

well all I can say is if this is real... I hope he still can turn into the jet. Maybe he'll be a tripple changer and if indeed he is a tank then this is kind of how I had thought he should look. I like the Cybertronian style to it. Megatron is a bad ass and I believe no matter what form he takes he would never take on an Earth form. He sees no need to hide so why have an earth form. Besides On Cybertron he may have had a few different forms... we just seen the air form because it was what was needed at the time. But all this is just me thinking out loud.

I am going with fake on this one. I think we are going to begin seeing more of these as we approach the november trailer.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the tech who got hurt. We once had an employee who pumped gasoline into one of our diesel sweeper trucks. He damn near blew up the truck and the gas station. Scary stuff.
