This design is just so... bland. Just like the last one. He's just a big silver mess with some tank treads and one arm that's too long to compensate for one that is too short. This guy is going to tip over when he walks...

Well, it's gonna be debated over just like the last one. And since this (who knows at what stage) concept rendering is a variation on, and not a complete redesign of, the first one, people that didn't like the 1st are still gonna hate this one, and so forth.

It looks like some sort of evil knight with asymmetrical jousting armor. The edges around his body appear more rounded. Plus pieces of him were missing at the time he was dumped in the ocean. Lots of speculation to come, I'm sure.

I like it, not suprising since I grew to love the 1st one. They've changed just enough to keep it fresh, but left the elements I was most fond of.

I'm not a fan of Megs new look but then again I didn't really take to his look in the first film either.

the first one is legit. The 2nd one PSed and taken from a transformers board which looks better than the first design except for that fusion cannon

Its obviously fan made... its like someone just added random features over the megatron drawing. I bet this is one of the fake leaked stuff that Michael bay mentioned at the start of this year.

No the Ice Cream Truck is not the Corvette - they were filming at the same time in the same chase scenes.

The Two small cars have not been seen at the same time as the Ice Cream Truck though. which is why so many people asume that either the Ice Cream Truck becomes the Tracks and the Beat cars, or I supposed there is a chance it's destroyed. but the theory that fits the facts seems to be that the Ice Cream truck becomes the green Beat car and the Red Trax Car.

RE MEGATRON.

I can tolerate that Megatron as a character in a Cybertronian Flashback - however I don't think it's a strong enough design to hang a movie on - so I'd not want to see that design used as an Earth Mode. I simply don't think it's a strong enough design.

The Two small cars have not been seen at the same time as the Ice Cream Truck though. which is why so many people asume that either the Ice Cream Truck becomes the Tracks and the Beat cars, or I supposed there is a chance it's destroyed. but the theory that fits the facts seems to be that the Ice Cream truck becomes the green Beat car and the Red Trax Car.

There's also the fact that the leaked call sheet labels the ICT as brothers then mentions a scene outside the Smithsonian with Bee and the Twins...

Incidently where the Beat was first properly spotted.... and I believe i can see the Trax in one of the long range fan snaps of the shoot.

I would hope that they'd not want to put Supercar character names on what are essentially the movie's equivellent of mini-bots.

You might just as well call them Cliffjumper & Brawn.

When I first saw Megatron's appearance on the first Transformers I hated it. Now I've gotten to where I like it. I'm just keeping my mind open about this supposed new look for the second Transformers movie. Bay and company made it work for the first and I'm sure they will do the same for the second

The colours aren't a problem cause Ratchet and Ironhide had a different colour scheme than what we are use to seeing.
