Default Michael Bay film preparation !

    Hello!
First of all, excuse me for awful English. Trying to find some info about - how Michael prepares for each shooting day. Maybe you could help?

    Several questions:
    1. It is amazing - how many takes and different angles of shooting Mike did every day (by the way - do you know the numbers?). So it is very interesting to look at his directors script style - what did he write in it?

    2. Interesting to look at his storyboards - maybe you have something (complete scene - from beginning to the end)? Every frame in Bay movies is not static, so, for me, in this situation it is very hard to work with pictures.

    3. Maybe you have some sort of home video of "one shooting day"? Ive already saw virb, but I want some info without any cuts, where I can look at:
how many takes, angles for one scene, the process of rehearsals etc.

    Thank you!

Don't were to look beside the extra features on the special edition dvd's. You might be able to dig some stuff up on this site and youtube or something like that. Nelson and other members might be able to help too.

One thing about the use of storyboards is that Michael is leaning away more from that and using previsualization, which is basically a crude CGI animation of the scene to give the actors a sense of what they are dealing with.

    Thank you for your answers!
I made a deep research before posting this question. You right! Some DVD-bonuses or virb(youtube) clips are really great. But you cant see the scene exactly from beginning till the end or the complete shooting day.

For example. Trailbreaker said about CGI and previz. I have a superb dvd-episode "from script to sand" (scorponok attack from Transformers), but I cant see how many cameras were in this scene, how many takes Michael did for each shot, how many scenes he shoot in one day etc.
Also, for this episode he did animatic. This is really hard cgi scene, so animatic is really the best way. But it is not possible to make animatics always! And Michael Bay ALWAYS(!) use so many shots and different angles, so it is really interesting to look at his directors script style, at his "preparation papers". Maybe someone from this site have a communication with Michael and ask him for that?
