I'm going to be wearing the jokers clown mask from the beginning of the movie to the first showing at IMAX Sydney the worlds biggest screen. It's going to be so awesome!

The world's biggest screen...as in the IMAX screen?

Hellz yes! I just bought my tickets for July 20. Ain't no way I'm fighting the crowds opening night. LOL

And I've thought about that too....but maybe I'll stick with a regular t-shirt, like I saw a couple of girls wearing at the TF showing I went to at IMAX.

one was wearing a barricade shirt, the other a Prime shirt. I thought they were rather funny, as I just saw them come out of the bathroom, giggling nonstop.

I'm lucky I've got the worlds biggest screen just a 10 minute walk from where I live to watch The Dark Knight. I hope the mask arrives in time though still shipping from the USA.

Well, I thank God for Fandango where I can pre-order my tickets. No sell out for me! Hehe!

You are lucky. 10 minute walk. Wow. I'd love that.

Where'd you order your mask from?

We're not allowed to let anyone in with that sort of thing (masks and stuff). Was told its a security issue. Not sure if it applies to the employees though...

Three of my friends and I are watching the IMAX version on July 20. Unfortunately, the seats are assigned and we have to sit in the second row from the front (the showing was pretty much almost sold out when I ordered on movietickets.com).

Hopefully, we won't have to tilt our necks too high up to gaze up at a 100-foot screen

I love this new franchise because it's different.

This is not your typical kid's Batman, no way.

Dude, they have assigned seating? WTF up with that?

I bought tickets off of Fandango and they aren't assigned seating.

    That's whacked.

The IMAX screen is at a theater called The Bridge in Los Angeles. It's one of those "classy" theaters where they even have a bar inside if you wanna booze up before watching a flick (or afterwards after watching a film like Speed Racer or Indy IV).

The only other theater chain that has assigned seating as well are the Arclight theaters in Hollywood and Sherman Oaks (in CA).

    Ahhh...that explains a lot.

There's no bars in the IMAX where I'm going. But hey, I don't need to get drunk to watch TDK. I'm going to pay attention to every. single. detail.

Hey Bee, I'll be doing the IMAX experience along with ya next Saturday night except I'll be doing it the brand spanking new theaters here at Garden Walk... and the Disney fireworks will be going off overhead during the flick but I'm sure you can't hear that inside. (yippee DK on Saturday). This weekend no flicks, just the OC fair (fried frog legs anyone? bleck).

Are you referring to the first six minutes, i.e. the bank job?

    That does kick ass. Indeed.

And...ladies and gentlemen, allow me to present an exclusive clip from mtv.

Did anyone notice that 3 of the 4 current bad reviews for The Dark Knight on RottenTomatoes.com are by a bunch of blow-hard douchebags in New York? Fuckin' NYC. Just thought I'd share.

I haven't read one bad review of it.

And I really don't like the douchebags on Rotten Tomatoes. LOL

Wonder what they rated the Spiderman movies....:deadhorse1:

Incredible how they believe NYC is the only city on Earth and everything should happen there. :wtf
