How many people double dipping for TF Blu-Ray?

I know I'm triple dipping for sure.

I first got the regular DVD and then bought an HD-DVD player later and then picked up the HD-DVD. I felt the TrueHD audio track was good but I know it could be better. So I'm definitely triple dipping for the Uncompressed PCM track.

Since they already announced the features on the Blu-Ray release, I guess that can confirm that there's no TF2 teaser.

Once I learned TF was coming to Blu Ray,it was a green light for me to go buy a PS3 for the blu ray functions.I didnt even buy any games I have the 360 for that.

I will definitely be getting the official BD version. Its suppose to have a better video bit-rate along with the audio update.

I refused to get the hd-dvd player for Transformers, so I did the next best thing, I got a copy of the hd-dvd version and muxed if for BD :P
Finally I can throw this copy out

Not only is it the cheapest but it is also the best, Sony always updates it with the latest sound codecs and features that some of the top of the line Blu players dont have.Thats a win-win for me....So far I have 4 blu ray movies and 0 games....it sucks if you want great PS3 only games but hey I didnt buy it for that.

I got Transformers on HD DVD and will be double dipping on the Blu-Ray. Honestly, I don't expect a big difference between the HD DVD and Blu-Ray, but for as much hullabaloo as there was around here during the format war, I am curious to compare the two.

I'm waiting for the US release of Transformers 1987 animated movie on Blu-Ray. I've got the UK Blu-Ray version which badly needs to be remastered and color corrected.

I'm saving up now for a PS3 so I'll be doubling up and getting the Blu-Ray version of TF.

Alright, is it really worth the investment? I am trying to buy a used Jeep Wrangler this fall and don't want to waste the money on a new player. Is there that big of a difference? I rushed out to see the movie on imax only to see 6-minutes of Sam picking his friend up at his house. I don't want my nerd/fandom to get the best of me on this one.

It will be better because the HD DVD didn't have a TrueHD track, it had a lossy Dolby Digital Plus track.

They already said that along with the updated audio track, the Bit-rate is higher with a remastered encode. Better PQ along with AQ is definitely worth the double dip
