Around how long would you guys say on average it takes to get a response back from Heery Casting, to know whether or not you're considered? - And do they contact you if they don't want you, or do they just let you figure that out by yourself?![]()

50000 minutes![]()
Damn, that's a lot a minutes. :P
Well, lets see. I went to the college party shoot...not as an extra...just to watch.
Based on what I saw, ALL of the girls were "model quality & stick thin" and all of the guys were pretty "buff". No "real" people. Unless you fit one of the first 2 descriptions, you probably won't be called. They way I see it, if you are an Alpha Beta or a Pi Delta Pi you're in...if you're a Lambda Lambda Lambda or Omega Mu...well forget about the call.
*BTW Johnny...it specifically said 18 years old. So, I wouldn't keep my hopes up.

well.. i got a call back today.. and i'm a skinny 5'6" dude.. so.. obviously not a broham.
I think they just hire extras on the spot. It's logistically unrealistic to think that they'd actually cast for extras and transport to the location. But then again you never know, so I wish you the best of luck with that.
usually a long time
Well, here's hoping. They're filming next week, my bro needs to check his email. :P
When I was an extra on Spider-Man (the first film), what happened was some guy at the beach (Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, CA) was handing out flyers asking for extras.
All I had to do was go online and register my name or something, and show up on set (in Downey, CA) with the form that I had to print out after registering. It was easy. I wonder if Dreamworks have people walking around the streets of Philly asking people if they wanna be extras too![]()
