Prime on Desert Highway

Hey Guys

A friend of mine and I have challenged each other to a moment in this film.

When Optimus does the awesome 180 on the desert highway, does anyone know if special effects were used for that or was it a really good specialized truck driver?

A stunt and camera work. Believe it or not those trucks can do that. They probably sprayed the tires with a greasy liquid.

Yeah, it's possible. Like Dev said though, they probably assisted the jack knife with something, given how front heavy it is without a trailer.

Wow, seeing that vid r-type. makes me realize how cool optimus is the way he is and how much he would suck as a flat nose.

I freakin love how those tires come to a total stop as prime turns direction, also happens on the freeway when he transformers, fuckin A, gonna watch it now, damn, I need to get a job....

Yea but that dump truck has a fat ass to swing around. They probably did Prime as well that way then cg'd it out or something.
