We are not all like 'hedgehog'. I have been a fan of transformers most of my life... Although I cant really say I liked everything about the movie, I still enjoyed the movie immensely and would probably be up there as one of my favourite movies.

I think what Michael Bay and the production team did with the actual transformers (with perhaps the exception of Starscreams design imo) was absolutely amazing. I loved every scene where the transformers were involved in. I appreciated the difficulty a movie like this would bring... and thought the writers, production team and Bay did a brilliant job!!

From what I understand 'hedgehog' was not all that well liked over at the don murphy boards anyway... although i could be wrong. It annoys me when there are a few who have to try an ruin things for everyone, not only that, but give all transformer fans from around the world a bad name.

During the filming of the first movie, there was tons of complaining and whining on the web. Michael recieved death threats and his trailer was broken into.(so I've heard anyway)
Dispite that, he was to make the best movie of 2007 and have fun at the same time. I doubt the outburst of one crazy transformers fan will effect him.

And then you are suggesting Mr.Bay would commit a financial and public image suicide like that for what? To go against Hasbro?
How old are you? Or are you from the competition wanting Bay to fail,uh?
Really, your statement just doesn't make any sense.

This second movie I hope is going to be his best movie ever.

You have probably missed the threads The Great has done i.e., the tongue in cheek ones are the most fun, and tend to perplex some into thinking it's a serious statement. This would be one of those threads -- when in doubt look at the posters such as R-type, Agony, Bee1983, RedQueen, etc. It's a bit Monty Python... "I came here for an argument." "Oh I'm sorry, this is abuse." You looked for a serious statement, but all you got was TG's humor. Oh, and if by chance I am mistaken, well then we shall just have to smack him around a bit.

TG: If you had been Bay, we know what you'd do, and it wouldn't be postable (Is that a word? Grabs dictionary -- post, postal, postcard, err, no... finds bigger dictionary...there is a pistoleer and postbag, but nope, not a word, but it should be) able to post the bloody thing. Oh, and if you were Bay TG... darn, still can't post that either. Never mind.

    *giggle fit ensues*

So, maybe the Great has gone postal? Since he can't post all that you mentioned? Bwahaha....I amuse myself sometimes. And sometimes not so much.

What if Bay were the Great? Let's reverse roles here...oh, wait, Bay is great. My bad.

Now that (^^) was a great statement...brought to you by me.

Aaaandd with that said, back to work now. My stupid computer decided it didn't like my document and I lost EVERYTHING. Fortunately, I did print, and did save, but noooo, my computer decided it'd quit the application suddenly. *sigh*

Pretty much your right. Like I actually believe he would mess up the movie on purpose. However, if you look at spiderman 3 making a bad movie doesn't mean losing money.

And you are right if i was bay most things would not be postable

Oh, my... Been hitting that L'Oreal blond ambition bottle again? Stuff isn't good for you, Bee, as it will lower your I.Q. level. Certainly seemed like a bottle of something-something.

As for Bay being TG... HELL-NAW, don't go there -- ever. That just brings all kinds of things into my gray matter that just isn't right.

    Nope. I'm not blonde (anymore).

I'm a brunette now. And actually, it's probably the pool shock talking...as I somewhat inhaled a lot of it last night and burned my nostril hairs.

    Ugh.

Were you treating the pool yourself? (Not supposed to breath that, i.e., stay down wind.)

Just stirring the shock. And the powder went *poof* right under my nose.

    It's strong stuff!

What other movies could hasbro make?

The G.I. Joes are already on their wayans.

    Action man?
    MLP?
    Play-doe the Movie?

Toy story 5 is what you should worry about...

theres no real reason to say If I were Bay I'd ... cause youre not, and you would probably do all kinds of things different. like get haircuts.

The one I'm waiting for is "Mr. Potato Head: Action Spud" -- don't laugh, it'll happen (Columbia is doing "Smurfs").

What's listed coming from Hasbro: Magic: The Gathering, Stretch Armstrong, Ouija, Clue, Battleship, Candy Land and Monopoly. Last one is in development with Ridley Scott.

As for the hair -- what's wrong with the hair? Leave it alone, it'll be gone soon enough.

I guess it's a good thing, then, that Bay values anything his name is attached to.

The thing about Michael Bay, and this comes up every time he makes a movie, is his talent for attracting discussion. Everything Bay does is big and in the public eye, therefore a lot of shit gets thrown around before, during and after the project. He could be doing a sequel to one of the biggest films in history or an original movie about an asteroid. No matter what, there is a lot of talk that goes on around hist latest project.

My point is; this kind of "behavior" is as regular as clockwork for a Bay film. I barely pay it any attention at this point. My guess would be that Bay is immune to it at this point.

Let me just point out the Trigger Mike has posted more today than in the whole month. Nelson is more alive than usual too. What gives with you two dudes? You guys are like the most inactive mods I've ever seen. Probably due to why things run so smooth around here...oh wait, I think I answered my own question. lol

No, its a conspiracy...I'm scared now. Someone hold me...

Yes, it's been almost like a full moon with what's been going on, otherwise I don't think you'd rustle them out of hibernation. But if you think Nelson has been busy here, he's been on fire on DM.net...matter of fact, he posts there more than here (there is the theory he likes them better than us -- they insult him, he posts lots there...go figure...Monty Python).

So.. if i were Bay, I'd randomly bring a variety of exotic cars and military vehicles in the set and enjoy watching rumors.

Well, I can vouch for Nelson; he's a busy bloke and there are only so many hours in a day.

Now I just need to find someone to vouch for me...

There you go. If you want our attention, you just need to abuse us.

In all seriousness, I read 99.9% of the posts on this forum (some slip by). I don't always get time to reply and it isn't crucial. The discussion on these boards is so lively these days, I don't really need to post to keep things active. Several years ago, these boards got really slow until the week or two before Bay's next film came out (Pearl Harbor being an exception). Transformers has certainly changed that.
