Default A long ways to go, but so much excitement!!!

Its only been 2 days since they started filming but it has been a really exciting 2 days.

Remember when the first official trailer of Transformers came out? I know some people who were jumping in and out of various Transformers related forums discussing about the trailer for hours.

But today and yesterday I've been visiting so many different sites which exhibited alot of set photos and other articles related to the shoot. Its just been so exciting with all the news popping up.

Its only been 2 days and it feels like June 26th is just around the corner because all this anticipation is really building up the anticipation.

Even when Transformers was filming in 2006, they didn't have THIS MUCH coverage about it. Now that the original movie is a hit, it feels like this is the one movie that many people are truly excited about especially since the filming is happening in their own backyard.

Alot of fanboy movies are filmed in studios and do alot of green screen work in sound stages so it is such a wonderful thing that Michael Bay loves shooting things real in real locations.

It feels like from now til the end of principal photography, they're going to have lots of news reports and spy photos circling the net on a daily basis.

When they announce big movies like this, I get excited but then later on I just shrug off the excitement because you don't hear much about the production until every so often, a movie news site will mention something like once or twice a month. But with Transformers 2, its been a onslaught of daily news (so far) with photos!!!

Anyways, I'm just expressing my excitement and its just hard to not think about how huge this movie is going to be.

    Michael Bay is the man!!

I know, think about it... there's so much coverage already and we're still craving more.... more! more! more! Can you imagine how it's going to blow up when a teaser trailer is finally released?!

One part of me wants to avoid all the coverage, set photos etc. and another part of me just thinks that's a bit of the fun in anticipating an upcoming movie. I'm still considering not watching any of trailers... what are my chances of that?

I'm getting more excited with Bay's comments in interviews. That about the first one was just the introduction and this one will take things farther. I have absolute confidence that this will be one of those sequels that will make you go "Oh, the first one was just child's play compared to this" regardless if you enjoy the big action set pieces or the character scenes with Sam, or Optimus, or Bumblebee. Go Bay!
