in case anyone hasn't seen this. it pretty much confirms what we already know about Arcee being in it

TFormers has found an article in the Ventura County Star that discusses custom bike builders RetroSBK and owner Will Kenefick. The company was hired by Dreamworks to build six custom bikes for Transformers 2, 3 "hero" bikes and 3 stunt bikes.

From sources, I can verify that Kenefick did design and build the pink, purple, and blue custom bikes (hero and stunt models) that is the alt mode of Arcee. She is not the Spyder Trans-Am or Trikes as previously rumored. It’s also why nailing down her "model" has been difficult since custom jobs don't really have a make and model. So far no pictures have been released of the bikes but apparently one "paparazzi-style" picture was taken, even if the person doesn't know what they have.

i agree. i have my doubts with bay, nowadays. i'm hoping the plot isn't like a soap opera. more like, how it was in the first instead..... just with more autobots and decepticons

I was wondering also about what would happen to production if the strike occurs.

Probably work on the visual FX during downtime.

And about the whole 'soap opera' topic, Empire Strikes Back is one of the best sequels ever made...and not only did it have Han and Leia getting touchy-feely during most of the film, but it had incestual action too (Luke and Leia).

So that goes to show you that romance (abnormal or not) can fit nicely into a Giant Robots Kicking Major Ass movie.

Unicron must be in the movies, he's an integral part of the Transfomers series!! Nearly all the cartoon versions and comics, have him... so he must be in the MOVIE. Planet Eating Machine-God that threatens Earth!!! How freaking wicked would that look on the big screen?


I'd like to see a build up to Unicron, keeping him unseen and have some kind of god-like voice. Then have him bring Megatron back to life as Galvatron... And as long as the movies doesn't wimp out, like they did with Galactus in FF4:ROTSS, then it should be awesome.

Unicron in these live action movies would just be a bit much for me to suspend disbelief on. I'm digging the direction Bay has taken the Transformers.

Megatron reincarnated in the form of Galvatron? For those not of the robot transforming passion, that's just hokey. Bring him back AS Megatron, or don't bring him back at all. I'd love to see/hear some serious dialogue spewed forth from Mr. Weaving's character.

Just keep it "grounded". Keep it street-level. Nothing out of this world please. The All Spark is as wild as I can take. Alien robots coming from space that can transform into vehicles is as simple as it should be and have them beat the crap out of each other with spectacular battle scenes and car chases.

And just a final request, make it AWESOME!!!

Unicron is just too much to even think of having in the movies. Think about it. A good majority of the people that seen the Transformers movie are people who weren't fans of the series but people who are either fans of Michael Bay or thought the movie just looked awesome. Robots from outer space that transform into vehicles is hard enough to swallow but you introduce a robot the size of a planet then that is just going beyond believable in a live action movie. Sure it would be cool to see a robot that big but personally I would just as soon them leave him be where he is. Instead concentrate on characters at hand. I vote with BrotherHalo. Just let Megatron be Megatron he's still a big figure in Transformer lore that hasn't really been explored yet.

I only agree partially with that. Yeh, it would be a lot to swallow if they brought other aspects of Transformers into the movie that most people who haven't watched the cartoon series haven't yet learned. But what's the point of making a movie if it only repeats itself over and over again. There's got to be more than meets the eye here, right? I say this especially to Michael Bay (though I know to him this goes without saying that) if you must introduce new stuff into the movie, be sure to do your research and be prepared to explain throughout the movie the history of what you're introducing. Otherwise, you're gona get a whole bunch of us fans frothing at the mouth come the release of the movie.
