Hell, even people at ILM needed Bay to tell them how the lighting reflects on a car…
A slight advancement is enough for Bay to publicly say that they will outperform themselves on that one, and that TF2 will look even better than TF1.
With this question, Bay could comment on it, without having to disinform anything related to TF2.

I honestly thought the CGI couldn't get better with the live action version.
But yes, with advancements I am so looking forward to TF2 and the newest technology in CGI.

b o t ....I'd guess that they are doing some incredible new stuff, and getting better at it! .......just like computer power is constantly evolving, gaining more power and memory months at a time.
I can imagine if they used tech from last years film, it would be somewhat cheaper now, giving them room in the budget for new great things!
Man, I'm just as excited about tf coming on Bluray in September. Be a nice b'day gift for me!
