If all of these news were legit, there would be so many girls in TF2.![]()
According to Isabel Lucas' talent agency, she has been cast in Transformers 2 as "Alice". This role is not part of the possible character breakdown released a few weeks ago. The lovely blond 23 year old has worked for the last few years in Australia but will make her US debut in the movie "Daybreakers" later this year.
The Meissner Management site simply states:
ISABEL LUCAS
NEW
Feature Film “TRANSFORMERS 2” DreamWorks US Production.
Role of ALICE.
According to her IMDB profile she is from Melbourne, Australia. Interesting considering that Rachael Taylor and the rumored casting of Teresa Palmer are also from there. Maybe Bay just likes the accent. Any case it remains a rumor and besides just because the character has a name doesn't mean it’s a major character in the movie.

No idea about who is her, but looks cute.

what the hell???? Thats like 3 photos of 3 different girls
The 2nd photo looks like Rachel Taylor from the first movie
Just one look at her and I predict "Good looks, Bad actress".
Either Bay is once again pulling our chain or he doesn't know that his own people are a part of it because the Steven Spielberg hand picked Teresa Palmer and it was his personal decision to put her in the TF2.
So it looks like she's in it after all.![]()
"...my heart is turned to stone; I strike it, and it hurts my hand..."
so if it comes from Bay's mouth, its supposed to be real news?
*sigh* some should make a list of all the things that were rumored to be in the movie
Make a confirmed list, rumored list, and fake list
Spielberg says she's in it so we'll go with that. But then again Michael Bay said that Indy 4 is going to suck but I highly doubt that.
This chick went to school in my town. Would be sweet to have some more Aussie's in the film... If it does get confirmed by Bay obviously.

No misinformation on this: Spielberg picked Lucas for role
As previously reported here, Isabel Lucas has been added to the cast of Transformers 2. But with all the misinformation going around, no one can be certain of anything regarding the movie. That is until now.
A report has just come in from The Cairnes Post, an Australian news outlet, that Isabel Lucas was picked by Steven Spielberg (Producer of Transformers and Transformers 2) for the upcoming sequel to the blockbuster hit.
The report states that Spielberg initially saw the Australian actress working on the war epic "The Pacific" and was so impressed by her role that he pushed for her to get a role in Transformers 2.
A spokesperson for Lucas's agent Meissner Management stated that she will most likely be cast in a 'strong supporting role'.
how about i dont care what people are in it I JUST WANT TO SEE BIG ROBOT ASS KICKING![]()
How do we overcome an enemy who lies to himself with faith?(Shadow)
We confront him with the truth of destruction!!!(Wraith)
Hey, I went to work today thinking I was four weeks away from shooting and by 11:30 I found out I'm just three weeks away. SHIT! How time fly's.
Isabel - no Steven did not pick her - it just makes a good sound bite for press. Yes, I did give her the part. - True story.
Michael
and there you have it!!!!!![]()
This is all rather amusing to me as when there was talk 2 years ago as to who might make a good Carlie (or the equivellent there of) She was one of the ones I suggested along with another girl from Home And Away.
There was a good bikini shoot of all the Lasses From Home & Away in a Magazine many many months ago now - I think she was still in the show at that time.
She's a nice likable girl - the only thing one might say in negative about her is she's a bit thin and her voice is a little high pitch - but not so much as to be off putting.
Though she does have the "Billie Piper problem" which is that seeing her it's hard to supress the unstopable desire to pin her down and dye her Eyebrows to match her the hair on her head.
Sort of amusing that there's girls from the same stable of shows across the 2 movies.
Now how about Indiana Evans for movie # 3 then

Anyway end of my indiana based digression re; Isabel..
Anyway all rather interesting and generally positive about about her being cast.
Will amuse the heck out of my family when I tell them - as they Will Rember Tasha from Home & Away. but I bet they never thought she'd be a point of convluence with Transformers.
Isla Fisher was in Home & Away as well back in the day as well as a few others now recognisable to at least Genre fans anyway...

Of course you did. Can't imagine anyone thinking otherwise. I've lost a day, but never a whole week. But yeah, shit and time flies when you're having fun...must have been some kind of fun.
So, Isabel, Isabel, Isabel -- that's all very good and fine, but besides the kid, what's the female viewing motivation? Don't we get to have something to look at besides bots? Was there any casting there for the rest of us? Por favor, where's our candy? Yipes, that sounded almost greedy, certainly shallow, and I'm fully aware this isn't "Tomstone" or "3:10 to Yuma" but hey, it's a legit question, um, well, perhaps not.
Sorry, don't know what got into me. (*bad influence here cause I'm usually better behaved*)![]()
