ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! is today premiering the first look at former "Lost" star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Heavy Duty in Paramount Pictures' G.I. Joe, coming to theaters on August 7, 2009. The big screen adaptation, directed by Stephen Sommers, co-stars Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Ray Park, Rachel Nichols, Said Taghmaoui, Marlon Wayans, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Arnold Vosloo and Christopher Eccleston.

Wonder when we'll see pics of destro with his Chrome-dome finish.........not keen on the all-black uniforms..........Duke needs to be blonde, and can we at least have Bazooka in a football jerzy..........and yeah, where the hell is RoadBlock?

Hmm.. dunno if this'll be good or not.. I see Channing Tatum and Dennis Quaid in it, and my first impression is its GOT TO BE good, with them in it.. Then I see this Sienna Miller gal playing Baronness.. and OMG she looks to fit the role to a T.. but then I see Marlon Wayans????? WTH???? and whats up with Storm Shadow? At least if their gonna put him in a ninja outfit, make it look realistic instead of looking like a bunch of towels draped around him. I dunno.. but if its going to compete with Transformers 2 for the summer blockbuster.. I hear a lot of battling going on! *Just hope this doesn't turn out like a Double Dragon or Street Fighter type movie*

Dunno if I am digging these X-Men suits... Make GI Joe GI Joe. I see a future train wreck on the horizon.

Joe meant moreto people that TF since TF cost more money to buy in the 80's for toys. Joes didn't so this is a big rolling the dice.

Remember that GI series with that one guy who was like frozen or something. It lasted for about 6 minutes on TV... very very sad.

I can't say I really remember much of the GI Joe series. I just remember playing with a lot of the toys with my friends. One of my friends still has a lot of his original toys in his basement, like the SR-71. I think he had some sort of Apache chopper too.
