You have to buy a separate ticket for that separate movie.

You don't want to rip off the studios of their cut, now do ya?

No comment about what I do and when I am known to do it. NEVER within the first few weeks.

Not to mention you tempted me to do it....which I won't because I'd feel guilty.

But I did catch a guy recording Batman Begins when I saw it in theaters. I busted his ass and reported him.

Theater hopping is a good tactic. I never did it til I moved to LA and dropped like 12-15 a ticket and still buy a drink...

This was the sumer of Batman Begins, Serenity, Star Wars III, Island, and some other good films. And when you have a 800$ rent to hit it starts to look like a great idea.

After that I Bought a ticket to children of men and after went to Night at the museum. 4 of us will go and have a good time.

Had a friend who owned or managed a theater (B knows this), and he would invite me and some others to screen the films early to make sure they set it up right for screening. First time I saw X3 was that way

Unfortunately, this is how I spent most of my childhood...

    My Technique

    1. Print a schedule before hand. Plan your route.

    2. Bring a hat and jacket so you can switch your appearance up a bit.

    My Code

    1. Always pay for a good movie that deserves your money.

    2. Save the hopping for the MegaPlex. Don't EVER do it to an independent movie theater. They're trying to bring class to a nasty business. Always behave with class in their hallowed halls.

    4. Buy snacks/drinks at the concessions area. Theatres make NOTHING on ticket sales, which is why concessions are so ridiculously priced. It's theft because they're starving. Mr. Lucas made them spend, what?, $30 grand on a digital projector so that they might be blessed with a prequel viewing? Give alms, buy the damned popcorn.

Ok then. I went to see Iron Man, after that I went to see Forbidden Kingdom. Great movie btw, It's been 10 years that i see Monkey King character again

Also while watching forbidden Kingdom, two of the movie workers (don't know how you call them) standing near the exit. I was like wtf, are they here looking for me?

Ushers, and no they were waiting for everyone to get the hell out so they could sweep all the trash under the seats.

also, if anyone wants to go theater hopping, make sure there are others watching the movie. I remember this one guy bought a ticket for some lame kid movie. we found him watching another movie and made him go back to his movie, and then we found him trying to watch another movie after his was over. he was like one of 20 customers we had all day, and was always the only one watching the movie.

Now, here's a goofy confession for you. Sneaking into R-rated films violates the code. I've only snuck into rated-R films twice in my whole childhood. The first was A Fish Called Wanda when I was seven and then the kids I was with, who incited this code violation in the first place, got bored with it and dragged me off to "go hang out" somewhere else. I remember being mad at the time because I was interested in it. The second time was "Indecent Proposal" and again, that was entirely my friend's idea. I watched the whole film that time, and I thought it was lousy. And then JP came out and we were all cleansed both spiritually and intellectually.

I had a lot of weird ideas as a kid.

Umm.. I don't eat popcorn. If I want to buy a snack, I usually sneak the snacks in as well because you can get a 4 pack of reeses peanut butter cups for like 88 cents at hy vee or walmart whereas a 3 pack at the movie theatre is nearly 3 bucks.... I will now and again actually get a drink cuz I like to drink pop while watching movies.. and well.. we have a movie theatre where you can actually order food, even drink beer.. so.. I'll get that some times.. its all good.. and then they bring the food to ya.. yippee!
