Which universe are you referring to, Shadow? There are many beyond this one - such as where I met the one who rebuilt me. And my spark is not connected to the energies I release - my connections and alternate powers spring from another source.
*The light energy within shadow continues its battle against the dark
energies within shadow trying to corrupt it - but it is a stalemate. The light energy from another universe is not powerful enough to destroy the dark energy within shadow, nor is shadows dark energy strong enough to corrupt the light impurity within him. His wounds start to flux between healing and reopening as Rhonda, with her wounded wing, hovers painfully in the air. She rips Nightshades blade from her arm after moving her parts around to free it. Sensing the connection between shadows energy and the ability to heal Nightshade, an idea occurs and she starts charging the blade with emp radiation absorbed from her bombs. She transmutes this energy to light energy, then she hurls the blade through the advancing veil of dark energy towards shadow.*
When opposites collide - only destruction remains standing.
*The opposing forces of dark and light energy are now of equal power, unlike the dark-heavy energies within shadow. When the blade impacts the approaching shadow, the two energies cancel each other out in a terrific explosion of negation energy - a storm of unusable absence. Rather then being an explosion in the typical sense, instead it is a mass ceasing to be of matter in the vicinity of the juncture. No energy is released, but the aftereffects similar to those of a great explosion are felt as the atmosphere rushes in to feel the void left in space. The resulting shockwave sends both shadow and Rhonda flying backwards through space. As Rhonda steadies herself later on, she transforms to her jet mode and flies off. The field is not safe at the moment for either combatant to remain in the vicinity*
At least this wasn't in an over-populated area.
*glares at Shadow as he flies through the air from the shockwave*
It appears that continued struggle at this point would only result in a continual draw - the constant struggle between light and dark.
*Activates her afterburners and flies away in pain from her injured wing*
Another time, Shadow. Next time, you better have more tricks up your sleeve if you actually want there to be a victor between us.
