I just thought carbon paper is commonly used for tracing/transferring underdrawings into wood. Nice handwriting!

It is but I didn't have any so I done it by hand, plus I've done the faction symbol so many times free hand that I can do it in my sleep, and I also had to learn a long time ago in commercial art how to do hand drawn lettering, besides I wanted the challenge it was fun.

My bad. I meant wouldn't I have had a screwed up sleep schedule the past few weeks. I suck. It's 6:00 AM and the birds are mocking me. I swear next time I come back from break, I'm bring my BB gun. Not really... I wonder if BB stands for Ball Bearing.......

well giving the amount of glyphs it was actually easier to free hand then stencil, and the insignia would probably been the only thing I would stencil, but I had confidence in my art ability so free hand worked just fine, the whole thing took about two hours to do from beginning to end.

you could also use a transfer paper, a (insert chemical I can not remember) transfer, or a projected image. there is also an arm engravers use that you can actually draw over an original and another part of the arm does the engraving. plenty of ways to transfer an image.

I hope the birds around your house will be late risers. One thing I don't like about living in central Tokyo is crows cawing at 3:00 AM! (Their biological clocks might lost time because of the lights of the city.)

yes and I know how to make graphite paper with the use of velum, but it was cooler do do by hand, though if I challenge myself with an actural transformer on wood then I wil use graphite paper to transfer the lines, thank you though for the info.

You have really good patience and calligraphy skills for getting the job done.
When I made this and that, I used copy and paste to repeat the same characters. (I might be lazy!)

The other was my first concept of a more humanoid egotistical Starscream for the movies, I wanted fancy wings to detract from all that extra upper body mass, though these wings don't really work, they are kinda pretty though lol.

Thanks, tried to play with a more comicey style with the colour. The composition was a fluke as I was originally just practicing drawing the hand and a transformer grew on the other end
