Wasn't a follower of G.I. Joe, but I did like the look of the Snake Eyes character.

They are filming here in l.a. I'm trying to get some photos,but it has been a closed set and they're not filming everyday.That pic is sick though.My brother was the G.I. joe fan but I liked them as well But I always got the tf where he got the gi's.He said he's not into them anymore but I'm lookin forward to this flick.I sure hope they pull it off and do it right.

I'm kinda indifferent on the photo too. Looks weird to be an actual photo. The lighting seems off.

The article states that its real. That background looks painted as hell, but that could be a painted set piece.

This might actually be a screen grab from RED ONE camera footage. Probably some test shooting.

Taking the image into photoshop i can see the lens croma aberration in the highlights. I doubt rendering programs are that damn accurate. So this probably is real. THe RED ONE has incredible low light abilities and is practically noise free. Which would explain it's so smooth looking.

This camera's sensor is better then any film Kodak or Fuji could put out. End of discussion. Within 10 years, shooting film will be the minority of movie production. Digital has finally arrived in full force. Damn its exciting.

By the way, the second shot on the article looks more convincing.

I'm still unsure about this movie. As long as they're not going for total reality it looks and seems cool.
