Cade has never "used the fact" that he's a veteran or he is a good father. It's just one aspect of his bio which newsperson noted.
In this era, people tend to speak in a very rough manner about news they knew by hearsay. It's sad to see people easily call others bad names.

Leastways Dynamo was a nice person and a good artist when he talked here. I hope he just said it from misunderstanding.

Now people all over the U.S. (or the world) know the car is not illegal IN NEW MEXICO. .

And the only thing is with all this publicity..and the dismissal got me wondering..and was going to post to cade about this in his now closed thread.
With all this publicity, Radio, TV and calls from across the country..Your safe now cade....
But this might change the law in NM.. Thats why the officer did not show up.
And you might not know about the change. The state now knows the law is not defined as a clear yes or no on what constitutes what a private citizen can do and not do with a car, and if any represenative that sees fit in making it more clear might make the car "illegal" in his state.
Now that it is getting press where many people across the U.S. can see it they might voice thier opinion to your local represenatives or local law enforcement with a letter or phone call. Your local law enforcement were okay with it but your state police were not. With the national media picking it up I am sure more than a few thousands of officers can read this or heck even post about it in thier departments. Other state representives also are vocal about this. That might make it back to your state. Those "complaints" from others across the country might make a represenative in your state bring a vote of changing the statute to a more defined idea of what is legal and illegal in your state or closer to statutes in other states.

Then rolling down the road as barricade the decepticon you get pulled over and cited. And beleiving your okay you go to court and sue. Only to find out that that same state police who dissmissed the charges before bring them to the judge this time who know have a defined letter of the law find you at fault and with this new law your car is in violation.

Now with that said..and for everyone. I am giving the counterpoint for one reason he sounds like a great father to his kids and doing this for his family!
But that sometimes blinds people from the outside world. Not saying your doing anything wrong cade. as you know as well as I you have done a few things to get your car a little bit more streetable and the likes to make it road worthy. I know this as you have stated. Not a big deal as it sounds like your going in the right direction and SHOULD be okay. But again back to the law..and your family. IF the law changes without you knowing your family suffers. I don't want to see anything happen to you or anything you put alot of pride and heart into for your kids happyness. Thats why I been very vocal about the opposite side of the spectrum. And that is why I have typed this up as a possible result of your "15 min. of fame" It could lead to it.

To shorten it up and just to the point..Be on the ball with everything in your state man as far as the law is concerned. Make sure you have that statute up to date in your glovebox. All the little things like de-policing the car, the light bar and all that is done while cruising. The little "out of service" window cling like I said. Get in touch with the right people who actually enjoy movie replica cars and see if they can help you with the law side of things since many movie cars are police based cars. They can help you and could make all the difference. I know this as I have talked to many people in the hobby from the Batmobile on down to KITT to Rosco's police car or older retired patrol cars. The hobby is big but also takes alot of rules and regulations that make it harder to enjoy as a hobby but also there to help you in going forward with any project you have for Barricade.

Again truthfully I don't care, call me an ass for bringing this up again or whatever..but I don't want to come on here sometime down the road with a post title from you along the lines of "Barricade is gone..." and the story to follow of how things have changed and you do not have your car anymore.


All this will make sure we see you on here and happy with your family for years and years man..

I see your point Z28.I hope they do change the laws.But if they do,they may not apply to me.I did this before the laws do change and by that time the laws change,Barricade will be replaced by a family wagon or SUV.Green if possible.Gotta teach my kids by example...if ya know what I mean?The stang will be put in the back yard with a car cover.Then one day in an Automotive Museum here in New Mexico,you may be able to see the car as an example of movie fanfare.When filming began to "take-off" here in New mexico.I hope to see this place as active as Cali with filming someday.My kids neeed a chance to dream about big things in a place that does not offer much.I could move them else where for greater chances in acting/film making.This is where they are from.Might as well.Its gonna happen.The state of new mexico is behind the Film industry.I do not intend on driving this car Barricade daily for the next 20 yrs.I want to retain the memories of our time here with my family.Hell some day soon all cars will be deemed illegal.Maybe we will see the day aircraft are sold at dealerships.They are planning on building a space port after all here in N.M.I'm shooting for the stars.

By the way Raddimus,I love the new avatar!!As for celebrity,I think my biggest fan is my son.After the fifteen minutes are gone....he will still see me as invincable.The least of my fans are now the state police.I didn't ask for the outcome of this.The first time I called the news because I did the car(and was convinced by the first state police officer I were committing a FELONY)and removed the decals after being held on the side of the road for at least 1hour or 40minutes, somewhere of a guess,on the side of the road.My son cried as I removed the decals.It angered me and I felt helpless.The D.A. warned that the car would attract their attention.why go to the extreme and tell me i were committing a felony act?I went home terrified and nervous as fuck.I refrain from using profanity,but I was nervous as fuck.Shaking and shit.Nauseated even....This time the newspaper came to my door and asked to interview out of curiousity.The guy was surprised to hear I had been charged.I told him most of it and you guys read what he wrote.Hopefully,everything chills out.I just wanna enjoy the moment.Thanks tough.I stay home all day every day.Once in a while I go out to eat with my family at a fast food resuraunt.You guys are as close to friends I have now.*sniff*sniff..I love ya guys too...and no I'm not drunk.

The cool part about the Transformers are how small they sell them.I remember Soundwaves minions being small. Then the mini-cons.I was pretty close to my teens then.I wanted nothing to do with toys.It was girls,party,and cool cars.Now that I'm dad and my son loves Transformers,I began my love affair.(Dont tell my wife!!)These little ones make me wanna play with them.Instead of keeping them in the box.I wont lie man,I love the toys and open them right away.Those hard to remove twisty ties have to go!!It makes them hard to remove from the box.Oh well,I really like the fact there is attention to the issue.If any recognition comes out of it for being a "fan".It will be a plus.I did this with my son in mind.Then it became a legal issue.I just wanted to enjoy life,use the materials I had to make a TF fan car,and see a couple car shows.I didn't expect to get attention.I have never really owned a computer until this year.That is why I haven't been here long.I searched for Transformers,and here we are...friends..Now lets all pinky-swear to be friends for ever...
