What about the idea of old towns falling by the wayside because of interstates? I thought that part had a bit of charm. Don't you guys go on road trips? I know I pass old towns like that when I take the back roads in between the big cities out here in Texas.
What about boy helps out the injured veteran make it across instead of cheating to win? It's a kid's story, you guys sound like you want a morose subplot for a Pixar movie.... (I hope not)
To be honest I didn't care for the love story either (but it was far from a dealbreaker). Another thing that gets me, is the fact that you are removing a "given". "Given" in that
of course if it was humans and not cars, it would need to try a little harder to sell the story. But it's not, it's talking cars, it's referencing old cars, famous car cues, etc. These things far outweigh anything "cookie cutter" that might be a bigger deal to others.
I expect this from Agony, but et tu Urry?
Sorry for the derail Wink.
Back OT,
I don't intend to see Horton, unless my niece begs me to.
