Broke up an amazing party I went to tonight! My friends were throwing an amazing party, but the cops broke it up at 1:30!!! Thank god my friends were there to take me to my house until i sobered up cause holy shit I would have gotten a DUI in no time!! Love my friends!!!

Getting a DUI isn't a big deal as long as you have a job, lawyer, and the money to pay for it. I don't know if you're still in financial trouble or not but that good that your friends did that. Mine didn't. Lucky you.
I have gotten a DUI, went to jail for a night, got a lawyer, paid the fines, lost my license for a month, and its on my record for 5 years. Wasn't a bad experience because it was the 1st offense. The law goes easy on you here for the 1st offense. Its treated like a mistake. Our system is so fucked when it comes to DUI and child support. Child support is like murder here.
I was lucky enough to be 22 with a job and car insurance. Sure my insurance went up but it wasn't much. The DUI only affects it for 2 years. After that they have to disregard it in adding into your contract. However they can deny coverage if you look elsewhere.

Yeah, being in college is rewarding with tax returns and such. My dad used to get bookoos of returns when I was in college, along with my brother, who graduates in May.
He noticed a big difference upon my graduating nearly two years ago.
And DUIs are bitches....I've never had one, but if I did, my butt would be out on the streets, meaning my job would not be easy. My publisher said if anyone loses their license, then they can just pack up and leave.
