    Default Summer Flashbacks

So I was wondering how many times did you guys watch this film in theatres? I personally watched it 7 times. It was freakin awesome. I remember I went to the first screening on a Tuesday evening when it came out. The place was packed! The next day I saw it again, and the day after that. Really great film. How about you guys, how many times?

    Four.

    Twice in IMAX.

Well, once in IMAX format, once opening weekend in IMAX, but not in IMAX format.

God that pissed me off. What a waste of a trip! 75 miles or so to Nashville for THAT?!?

    But I still wubed it.

Six times on regular screens, Once on IMAX. So, soooo much fun. Bay films are a great experience. At one point I snuck around the edges of the theatre listening to all the sounds coming out of the different speakers from the different angles. And it's a great audience film, too. Watching people watch it is as much fun as watching the film.

I just wish I could have seen it in IMAX. I've actually never seen a film in IMAX. I'm so slow.

    Fifteen.

Thirteen times in Japan and twice in the U.S. A guy in the concession stand knows me by sight.
He said. "Hi, would you like your usual beverage?"

Transformers was the first movie I had ever seen in an IMAX. Since then, I've been heading to that IMAX every time something new (that I want to see) plays in it. No movie has come close in comparison...

Dang Sora... and here I thought I saw it a lot!! LOL

I saw it premiere night.. which was July 2nd at 10 pm.. Then I saw it July 4th when it was supposed to come out, then I saw it with another friend, and then a week later with my son, and then a week later with another friend.. and then a week later in IMAX here in town (Except it just closed last month ) and then I picked up the DVD.. watched it the very night it came out (regular version) , Then saw the Special Edition and had to buy that one and watch it.. then saw the Walmart special set with the extra dvd which was a waste, cuz the 2nd DVD was only 19 minutes long, and it was basically the prequel comic book, and then I saw Target had the Transforming DVD case, so had to go get that one of course.. and so.. lessee.. I think I've watched it like 5 more times.. so thats about.. 15 times as well..

Only 3 times for me due to lack of fitting movie times around my classes and I can't go out at night as I have kiddies.. and no IMAX either - only in Sydney and couldn't make it.

On dvd is another story though hehe, but am going to top movie trips for the next one (hopefully) and the cinemas up here really hurry through with the movies they show too - I can't remember exactly but I think it was only 2 weeks they actually showed TF for... but I know I traveled to another cinema location so I could see it again.

Don't forget your trip to Hoover Dam!

    For me:
    4 times in regular theater.

    1 and a 1/4* times in IMAX.

*First attempt at TF's in IMAX, the film messed up about 1/4 of the way in. They had to rain check us because of the time it takes to re-setup.

Man that would have pissed me off.

I would have been like Sam's mother when those guys were in her rose bushes. Minus the baseball bat of course.

Must have been nice to see it on July 2nd. It released here on August 4th, what a shame!

Yeah, it brings back memories. You were reporting it back then. Everyone was looking for IMAX theatres.

Really, it's just a half years ago. But it has already been the sweet and fond memory.

We could be watching the first TF together....or Armaggeddon or another Bay film and get attacked by Starscream.
